I’ve never been to After You cafe in Bangkok. And I never knew they have this milk bread other than their famous thick toasts. But after trying this milk bread, I am making it my mission to make a trip down!
Addictively creamy and delicate milk mousse sandwich between soft fluffy dough. Taste a lot better than it looks. Chilling it gets the mousse texture very much like ice cream! So yums! 😋
What can go wrong at place if origin for ice cream roasts?! The cheesy version was a good mix between savoury and sweet. But I prefer the original version- plain sweet! In the pic are the mini sized versions- comes with just the right amount of ice cream. On the top left is a baked cookie w a dollop of ice cream- nothing to shout about honestly.
Every trip to Bangkok, I will try to pop by After You at least once to satisfy my sweet tooth. Other than those delectable Shibuya Toast, we can’t resist getting the Thai Milk Tea and Hojicha Kakigori tooooo.

Overpriced and sweet (maybe I add too much honey😂 all for boomerang) . But I like the softness of the brick toast. Never get to try the bingsu though..
Tried the Ferraro Toast and we were impressed. The buttery toast was well complemented by the ice cream and whipped cream. Liked that it same in baby size which was a better toast-to-ice cream ratio. Many outlets around here so it really was quite easy to try this out.
For toast so good you can’t give it a miss!
