Then we were brought to the Phuket Cookery School where it's residing next to the beach. AWESOME view to cook and dine to, what's more to ask? The chefs were great, had a good sense of humour, and made thai cooking look so easy. And when it was our turn to hit the wok, they've made our job very easy too. Love that they had all the ingredients prepared and all we had to do is to act pro and chop the ingredients and stir fry them. And its perfect that we had our own cooking station, and not cooking in groups (not a good experience). Good thing I'm cooking beside an amateurish Aussie who made me look like a Masterchef winner. Presenting to you Thai Popiah, Tom Yum Soup, Phad Thai, Green Curry and Mango Sticky Rice. All done in 3 hours. Pace was just right, cook and eat, cook and eat. And i love the fragrance of the spices and herbs. Never thought thai cooking can be so easy! I've a newfound respect for Asian food today too. Was chatting with the Aussie lady over lunch and learnt BBQ lamb is sort of their national dish, and i thought to myself isn't that very American too?
