Visited @saporitasg situated at Makansutra Glutton Bay, the first 100% Muslim owned Italian restaurant bringing Authentically Italian Food to the Singapore's hawker heritage. Their menu come with dishes that rarely make it to hawker stalls such as Calzone, Arancini and Steak Tagliata. But the thing that stood out the most to me is the Grana Padano Cheese Wheel inside their counter, and no price for guessing it correct, that their speciality and most popular item will be the Truffle Cheesewheel Pasta.
What I tried,
Arancini.
Deep fried risotto balls coated with bread crumbs stuffed with tingling lava minced chicken and stretchy Mozzarella Cheese and served on a bed of rocket leaves with a side of pomodoro sauce. Resembling a croquette, each bite into this crispy balls of chicken and cheese, filled me with warmth!

What I tried,
Truffle Cheesewheel Pasta with Beef Meatball.
Fettuccine are first cook before being tossed in Italian Grana Padano cheesewheel, lastly cook in homemade truffled white sauce and drizzled with truffle oil to finish. The pasta is further topped with generous amount of shaved Grana Padano and Truffle Pate. This rich creamy robust al dente pasta is a must-try for all cheese lovers. I topped up with Beef Meatballs and I’m glad I did that. A bite into the meatballs provide some contrast in flavour and texture.

What I tried,
Steak Tagliata.
A medium-rare ribeye lies on a bed of arugula, cherry tomatoes with drizzles of balsamic glaze. Plated just as the Italians do it. The steak is pack with a whole load of flavour with a gorgeous deep red centre and an undeniably crispy crust. Sliced into thin pieces with a tenderness that melts in mouth without so much effort of chewing it.

Offering heartwarming broth such as tongue-tingling Si Chuan Spicy Soup, Golden Chicken Soup or Tomato Soup, alongside a wide diverse range of ingredients like Shang Pin Beef, US Black Pork Slices, Beef Cheese Balls, Sea Urchin Ball, Chongqing-style noodles etc. Seafood lover can go for gourmet range of fresh seafood such Soon Hock Fish, Crab, Premium Crab Meat, Bullfrog etc. For the more adventures, can go for beef omasum, beef tripe, kidney and liver.
For the sweet tooth, they have two regular milk teas to choose from, including a Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea, otherwise opt for the very IG-worthy Milk Tea Pot, which comes with soft and chewy yam balls, grass jelly, red beans, and more. Is a pity they sold out when I'm there. Thankfully their equally famous, Korean-inspired flavoured bingsu is still available. I got the Oreo bingsu and it didn't disappoint. Coming from a hotpot place, this bingsu actually taste so much better a dessert shop that would offer. I would love to go back just for that! **Note, you can also find Shang Pin Hotpot in Parkway Parade @parkwayparadesg but these unique dessert offerings are only available at the Marina Square @marinasquaresg outlet.
The dining here is spacious and the relaxing atmosphere is approachable, this alongside friendly service. I definitely be back.
