Was actually pleasantly surprised by how fork tender this was! Gravy was not too spicy. Served with vegetables and mash.

Surf and turf turned out to be preeeetty good! The beef patty was really juicy and flavourful, together with sweet, chunky fresh lobster meat topped with brie(!), truffle (quite mild) and taragon mayo, fennel and cabbage slaw.

Still as good as I remember with crisp fluffy buttery brioche, stuffed with sweet lobster meat tossed together with Mayo. A little squeeze of lemon and this can never go wrong with the lemon & garlic butter sauce.
(+$5 for fries and salad)

Honestly quite enjoyable and what an indulgence! Wouldn’t say it’s worth cos it’s $39 for a laksa but it does come with half lobster ($69 for whole lobster). The gravy was rich and lemak, with the usual suspects of taugey, taupok and noodles.

Got the Roll Cake bundle so I could try most of the flavours (except for Hojicha); soft and fluffy, generously filled with cream. Roasty fragrant black sesame, matcha which I’d have preferred a slightly more intense/ bitterness, coffee which was quite strong, and bittersweet chocolate that was similar to the dark chocolate creamux from the Chocolate Crumble Cake so we really liked it! Safe to say we loved all the roll cakes. Also got a box for my grandma - pretty sure it’ll be something the folks would enjoy too with its soft moist texture and cream that is light and isn’t cloying😋

Nothing too over the top in design, but the Chocolate Crumble was a fantastic chocolate cake. Layers of chocolate sponge, smooth dark chocolate creamux that was rich and bittersweet, with a nice crunchy hazelnut feuilletine. Well balanced in terms of flavours and texture, everyone really enjoyed this!

Literal pineapple tart! Interestingly topped with shaved Parmesan, pineapple slices and jam, passionfruit curd with coconut. Wished it had more sour elements!

400g of Kurobuta pork rack with tangy Asian salsa on the side; served with seasonal vegetables that were nicely charred and garlic pommery mustard sauce. The pork was incredibly tender and juicy, although some parts were really too fatty for my liking.

This was part of the Taste of Qin set menu at $128++ for 2 pax (with the other choice being Short Rib at an additional cost of $30). $38++ ala carte.

Crisp flaky prata with truffle and eggs mimosa, but thought this was pretty normal. This was part of the Taste of Qin set menu, would cost $12 Ala carte. Burpple beyond can be utilised for a 15/30% off ala carte menu.

Interestingly served with a layer of jellied chilli crab, pomelo and shredded chilli crab meat atop creamy avocado mash, with a side of thin crispy crostini. Quite a flavour bomb and we enjoyed this very refreshing starter.

This was part of the Taste of Qin set menu ($128++ for 2 pax, with 2 dishes from their “Booze Bites”, 1 starter, 2 mains and 1 dessert). $18 ala carte, but Burpple Beyond can be utilised with 15%/30% off ala carte bill.

Crispy pork rinds with Sichuan spices to start. This was a tad spicy for me after awhile but it actually went really well with the next dish of very refreshing Chilli crab crostini, which helped to take a bit off the heat!

This was part of the Taste of Qin set menu ($128++ for 2 pax, with 2 dishes from their “Booze Bites”, 1 starter, 2 mains and 1 dessert). This would be $10 ala carte. There’s Burpple Beyond with 15%/30% off ala carte bill if you’re not ordering the set.

This was tasty! Had high expectations the moment the lid was lifted with fragrance from the seafood. Very mild hint of truffle but the star of the show was definitely the broth - with crustacean oil, the broth itself was sweet and an umami party in the mouth. For someone who usually needs side dishes/ ingredients to finish carbs, this was one that I could have easily finished the noodles by itself. Having said that, it wouldn’t hurt giving a little more prawns? 😬 Only gripe, would have been great if the dish had a bit more texture to it, or if the noodles were a little more al dente but the flavours more than made up for it imo.

Ordered this as part of the Taste of Qin set menu ($128++ for 2 pax, with 2 dishes from their “Booze Bites”, 1 starter, 2 mains and 1 dessert). Realised it was pretty pricey at $38++ if it’s ala carte - but there’s always Burpple Beyond to the rescue with 15%/30% off ala carte bill.
