A decent portion of clams and spaghetti aglio olio style. It's nothing fantastic compared to the other fancier items on the menu, but if you need a simple and can't-go-wrong lunch while at Dapper Coffee, this is a reasonable choice.

The swirling mixture of coffee, milk and earl grey on the rock in a whisky glass looks so dreamy on the eyes. Sipping it a few times, the individual taste of earl grey and coffee can be identified if you focus on them. This is probably the reason why I like yuan yang; the combination of tea and coffee with milk in one cup. Most yuan yang won't cut because of the conflicting strengths of coffee, milk and tea, making the aftertaste either too bitter or the milk added just masked the taste of both coffee and tea. However this yuan yang has a little added harmonic ingredient, the lavender bits. The lightly scented bits of lavender balances the strengths, creating a mild, flowery aftertaste instead of overly bitter or milky. This is something worth trying out in this already famous coffee house for their unique Unicorn Tears and Golden Brew drinks if you are willing to sit down and chill in this moderately dark ambience while doing some work. #burpple #fujifilmx100f

This is the Japanese rendition of the hugely popular 'cold angel hair pasta', and a highly refined one!

Cold somen in truffle sauce topped with bafun uni and caviar, sprinkled with sakura ebi, and finally shaved with both bianchetto white and perigord black truffles..

So good, so precious, so decadent, if that real gold leaf didn't tell you otherwise.

I have always wanted to try this since end of last year, so finally I will be able to clear this off my wishlist!

Having heard from Sid about this place just below our gym, I decided to try it out. The top-down cubic structure of it really captures my attention. It's like a photogenic piece of food art; a fresh rendition of the local delicacies. I asked the person over the counter bar "If I have to try just one, which one would you recommend?" He suggested the yuzu salmon and teriyaki chicken. But something compelled me to try the salmon first, despite the nicely dressed teriyaki chicken. I am glad I tried this first, since how much a of difference would teriyaki chicken taste in a cube.

The yuzu salmon has a big juicy piece of salmon slab starting from the top, followed by rice with some vegetables and finally beetroot. I have read through Jean's review about the yuzu salmon and I agree with her totally. The salmon with the glazed yuzu is absolutely a mouth-watering combination on its own. The citrus mixed with the salmon oil stimulates you to take another bite, and another bite. At this point I can't make a fair argument that this is indeed the cube to try if you have not tried before, but I would say just go for it if you really like citrus or yuzu to begin with.

Food Anatomy has both dine-in and take-away options, offering to preheat the cubes for you upon order.

At $2.50 per cube it's an affordable piece of art that sometimes longs for you to admire visually but with a heavy heart, you know you have to consume it.

Love the slight peppery, spicy flavor of the sausages. The braised purple cabbages were slighty pickled so it helped with the digestion of the entire meal. Of course if you are unsure what sausages to try, there's the platter for two with all of the sausages on it. ;)

The famous discounts at IKEA is back and closing this weekend was chicken wings at $0.50 per piece. On this table alone was 30 pieces of chicken wings, 30 meatballs, ribs and 2 plates of almond chocolate pie. All these for 4 guys. While the discounts are there, the chicken was fried quite nicely but still slightly sticky when handled and the fairly good pricing made the meal relatively cheap, the journey to gobble down all this food was uphill and arduous with regret 😨Too much of a good thing can be bad, so they said.

The good news is that the $1 for 10 meatballs will start tomorrow until 12th May. So if meatball is your thing, be sure to join the long queues starting this week.

Freshly made with lots of liquid love. The first time I tried this was when Veronica bought this for the office. It was so amazing that I could never forgot about it. Since I had to walked through Raffles City Mall to reach Suntec City, I had to buy a couple boxes for my family and gf's family to try. As expected, it was as amazing as the last time I had it with all the overflowing matcha and black sesame custard oozing out as the knife cleanly cuts the puff into half with ease. A messy ending to the plate after cutting into eighths I think? But it was satisfying to see everyone trying having the same reaction. πŸ˜‹

Scissors Cut curry rice, I'm sorry for not coming to you sooner. 😭 After much discussion and hyped in office, we finally went to this place for the legendary curry rice. The glorious curry sauce over all the pork, chicken cutlets and chap chye is just downright satisfying. My advice is to not put a meeting after this meal.

Chanced upon this hearty chicken ramen at ARC after Google Dev Seminar. I was looking for something easier on the stomach as I wasn't feeling well and thankfully there's a fairly decent ramen that's still opened past 9pm. Chicken broth was not overbearing in my case, however I do not really like the ramen noodles. Perhaps it was not my type of noodles that I would normally order, but it was still soft and manageable for my sick body 😷. At $10+ with GST only, it's probably a good deal given it's placement in ARC.

A good chill drink for a hot day after work out. The slightly zesty coffee bean taste makes a refreshing kick to start the day

To be honest, the photo on the menu was appealing but the delivered dish was like a meh. But still this is a good side dish if you are into sweet onions. The onions were a little hard to picked up but the taste was as mildly sweet as I have anticipated. The miserable amount of dengaku miso was probably the only true negative I can think of. With such ample amount sauce as shown on the menu, it just disappoints me a little that it could have been done better.
