Dropped by Dumplings.ru to try something different! The staff there were helpful and friendly — they noted that it was our first time here and brought out a menu explaining the different types of fillings that were in the dumplings. My favourites were the beef and the lamb ones! We ordered the combo platter which had 12 dumplings ($19.90). Good for sharing and trying out the different flavours! I also really enjoyed the Salmon Cheese Crepes which had smoked salmon and cream cheese stuffed into the slightly sweet pancake ($12.90).

Had the best Honey Toast ($24) ever at Pipes by Hattendo!! The outside of the bread is toasty and crispy, while the inside is soooo light and fluffy and beautifully sweet thanks to the honey. You can also taste that the soft serve was made with ✨quality✨ milk 😍 One portion is enough to share with 3 others for dessert after the meal. I also had the Tonkatsu Sando ($20) which was not bad too. Bread had a rly lovely buttery aroma and the pork was juicy 🥰 Will come back again for the Honey Toast!

Had dinner at Kucina Italian Restaurant the other day and was pleasantly surprised by how yummy this particular dish was. It’s listed as “La Barca Funghi E Tartufo” on the menu, but it’s a mushroom cheese pizza. I love that the truffle is not overpowering, so you can appreciate the combi of the creamy mushroom sauce and the mozzarella 🥰 The portion is pretty big as well and good to share with 3-4 pax!

Tucked away in the corner of Bukit Pasoh, this bistro serves up quality food for a reasonable price. There’s a set lunch that offers one appetiser, one main and one dessert for $30++. I chose the Truffle Camembert for the starter, and then the Spicy Beef Linguine (pictured) for my main. The pasta noodles itself is well-cooked and wasn’t soggy at all. The pulled-beef was flavoured well and tender 😋 For dessert, I had the Black Rice Pudding.
