Somewhat uncommon dish, ordered this out of curiosity. Those who love salted egg dishes (like I do) will enjoy this, quite potent and does get a little "jelak" after several pieces.
This stall has been around since the 50s. Love how tightly its packed so it would not fall apart easily. The ingredients were also not too wet as well.
Probably the most famous place to get murtabak in Singapore, this century-old restaurant serves up some massive murtabaks. Adding an extra kosong prata at the base and additional minced mutton on top, this murtabak needs to be shared (or not, if you're a big eater). Go for the chicken, full flavoured, well-spiced and tender, or the deer if you're adventurous! If you're sharing, go ahead and order some briyani too. Photo by edwyn c.
Beautifully plump steamed chicken dumplings, Nepali style. These are like fat XLBs served with a tangy, mild chili sauce. This was exactly like what we had in Darjeeling, what a great food memory.
Absolutely juicy tenderloin, book a table in advance if you want to eat here.
So glad to bump into fellow Tastemaker Veronica at Artistry, and had a nice chat with this gorgeous lady.
