Upon reaching the coffeeshop, there was already a long line forming and we waited approximately 20 minutes before we got to the front of queue. With a total of 6 different kind of noodles with 3 being handmade ones such as mee hoon kueh, you mian and ban mian, it’s uncommon to see anyone not ordering either one of them. There’s the soup ($3.50/$4.00) or dried version ($4.00/$4.50), and I got the dried one which you will have toss the noodles with the black sauce hidden at the bottom of the bowl until each strand of noodle is coated evenly. The egg with runny yolk creates a creamy consistency while the other ingredients such as cabbage, minced pork, anchovies and especially the braised mushroom complete the dish. You can definitely taste the passion the young chef puts into every bowl of this handmade noodles.

Ever since my favourite Bak Chor Mee near my house increased price I started to try other noodles from elsewhere. I felt that the signature noodles here are awesome with generous ingredients. I liked it that the noodles are well cooked and doesn't stick together. The sauce also managed to hit the right balance so it's generally a very satisfying coffeeshop meal!
This Tom Yum Pasta at Ice Cream Skool is a clear winner. I totally enjoyed the tangy spiciness that comes with every bite of the linguine. The portion is decent and the ingredients were fair for a $10 pasta. In fact, I find it a steal. I love every bit of it and would love to have it again!

Apart from their pies, April’s Bakery has recently launched a new ice cream brand, I-Bing. They’ve 6 flavours in total, each shaped according to their flavour - Pineapple, Mango, Durian, Coconut, Mangosteen and a soon-to-launch Dragonfruit. Durian and Mango are at $5.50 each, while the rest are at $4.95 each. Had a taste of Mango, Durian and Mangosteen and I’ve got to say I really enjoyed the Durian and Mangosteen! The former was creamy and rich, exactly like having a durian on a stick, while the Mangosteen although sweet, had a nice touch of sourness which made it rather refreshing! Prices are a little steep, but catch their buy 2 free 1 promo till the end of February!

This custard bun from Bun House is an awesome craving fix if you miss the local liu sha bao. Every bite oozes custard so it might get messy eating it. This is as authentic as it can possibility get for traditional dim sum custard buns!
Tried these lobster taiyaki sliders and found them to be really decent appetizers. Price point is on the high side but the chunks of lobster meat are very generous. I like how the pancake sweetness goes excellently with the lobster crunchiness. If it's a crispy shell, perhaps it might be even more awesome but this is good as it is too!

This waffle and scrambled eggs dish really took me by surprise. Most cafe establishments in shopping malls exist because the food quality isn't that good and the location is what bring it business. Imagine my double take when the scrambled eggs tasted creamy and fluffy. The waffles also won my approval when it tasted crispy on the outside and a sponge-like softness on the inside. Goes excellently with maple syrup. Awesome brunch meal in a superbly convenient location. Thumbs up!
The Spanish omelette or the classic tortilla is truly a winner and Michelin Star worthy. Every bite oozes with flavour. Don't be fooled by the ordinary ingredients, it is an awesome egg dish to have.

From The Rice Bowl; the Chinese economy stall that also sells tzechar items just beside Roast Master and two doors away from Taste Good (aka the more famous Salted Egg Chicken Rice in Sim Lim Square).
I liked the version at Taste Good, but I found the variant at The Rice Bowl even more appealing — a good balance of sweet and savoury; saucy but not overly creamy (it maintains a gritty texture of mashed salted egg yolk) while carrying a good amount of chili powder for that occasional spiciness when one chews on them. They seem to be generous with the fried chicken chunks; crisp and served piping hot, along with warm rice and a good amount of sauce. Quite value for money now given their current promotion at $4.50; a dollar off the usual $5.50 that is listed on the menu board. Worth going for!
I enjoyed this Milhojas dessert made up of thin wafer biscuit with layers custard. It's cooling and smooth. A awesome way to end a Spanish tapas meal and definitely 1 star Michelin worthy!

This is by far the best cooked smoked salmon I've ever tried. The dish is awesome with the ingredients very light and healthy. You don't feel you are indulgent with the food yet it's an awesome brunch meal to start the day. I strongly recommend everyone to try this when they are in London!

This dark chocolate chilli Gelato is one of a kind. I have never encountered anything like this in Singapore so it's really an eye opener for me. The taste is also a very interesting mix of cold bitter chocolate with a subsequent spicy after taste. I think it's worth a try especially if you are like me who love to eat spicy food.
