Attended this trial recently and it was didn’t disappoint!

Learnt how to make my own freshly baked Vietnamese Baguette 🥖 that’s just the right amount of crispiness. The Lemongrass Chicken patty paired pretty nicely with the pickled salad too 🤤

Korean fast food lovers should look no further.

My boyfriend and I were pleasantly delighted by their Garlic soy sauce that was generously drizzled over their signature crispy fried chicken that was deep fried to golden perfection.

Beer was smooth and went really great with the meal. Definitely a match made in foodie heaven, we’ll be back again for sure 🤤

Indulgence meets savoury in the form of a handcrafted burger aka for the Carnivores. Sandwiched in between a pair of toasted buns, the Wagyu-Angus Patty was packed with flavour and sinfully layered with slices of thick-cut bacon, Monterey Jack Cheese, Smoked Umami Mayo, Pickled Onion Jam, and finished with their in-house Steakhouse seasoning. Bonus points for those who can hold their booze - grab their creamy bourbon Jim Beam’s shake to go.

A taste of nostalgia, Joo Chiat Kim Choo’s rice dumplings are flavourful and generous in their fillings. I especially enjoyed the Nonya Rice Dumpling and Emperor’s Rice Dumpling, as their moist sticky rice went really well with the marinated diced meat that’s reminiscent of traditional rice dumplings.

Loved the beef stew and the Korean pancakes! Coupled with a cool citrusy drink, their Iced Yuja Soda is a great way to refresh your palette at the end of your meal. Very convenient location in town, would recommend if you are dining with friends in the area.

Loved this rendition of prawn noodles by One Prawn & Co. Their Rich prawn broth served in a claypot was robust in flavour elevated by crispy pork lard and fragrant fried shallot - deeply satisfying comfort food that will keep you wanting more 🤤.

If you’re there with friends or family, do remember to add a Ngoh Hiang platter for sharing as well as it goes really well with the prawn broth in my opinion. Would love to try their Tobiko prawn balls on my next visit for sure!

If you’re looking for comfort food with a side of chilled beer, Fu Lin Bar & Kitchen is definitely the place to be. Have a bite of their crispy prawn rolls, fried to golden perfection and well-paired with a savoury sweet sauce.

Enjoy the rich burst of pork bone broth from their Xiao Long Bao elevated by its black vinegar and chopped ginger dip - delicate yet simply irresistible.

Not to forget, their Hakka Pork Belly & Eggs Fried Rice, Yong Tau Foo and Pork Ribs were equally flavourful.

Better yet, reward yourself with Happy Hour drinks if you’re in the area on weekdays from 3PM to 7PM. Cheers!🍻

We loved the intriguing appetisers - Spicy Crispy Pig’s Ear and the Uni, Lardo & Cavier Toast. Decadence on a slice of sourdough, the silky smooth Uni with Lardo and Cavier garnish was filled with umami. The Pig’s Ear was highly addictive, fried to a crispy golden perfection that was well seasoned with its mala inspired spice.

Robust and flavourful, enjoy the Black Opal Wagyu Zabuton (MS6/7) along with the savoury Borderlaise sauce. For those who prefer something tender with more marbling, do try the Full Blood Wagyu Rib Cap (MS8/9). The wonderful combination of melt-in-your-mouth Full Blood Wagyu Rib Cap and the deliciously rich scampi butter was equally sinful.

A playfully indulgent dessert, this refreshing Eton Mess was the perfect balance between the tart yet sweet tropical flavours of the lemon sorbet and textures from the crunchy mini meringues. Paradise in a cocktail, a pleasure in every bite. 🤤

We loved that Chef Joel’s Signature BBQ Pork was roasted to porky perfection and sinfully indulgent in every bite.

Their Shiok Minced Prawn Patties was equally enjoyable as it was savoury seafood bites fried to a golden crisp and dipped in a sweet tangy sauce, making it a choice appetiser.

Not to forget Chef Joel’s XO White Fish Soup, a light yet fragrant collagen based broth that’s great for lunch and hearty enough for dinner.

Definitely will be back for more!

Carbonara lovers can indulge in this zhnged up fusion dish from The Communal Place, their signature Foie Gras Masago. The creamy, umami flavours were elevated by the well seasoned foie gras and the generous tobiko garnish made for a tasty and satisfying meal.

We loved their citrusy welcome soda and Kirin Lychee Beer as it was smooth and refreshing, complete with wonderful company and great music. 🍺

Their Cheese Steak Burgers was juicy and well caramelised, paired with a side of fresh rucola salad and crispy chunky fries.

Pure bliss on a plate. ✨

Stumbled upon this cosy little brunch corner tucked away in Serene Center when I wanted to grab a hearty breakfast with my Boyfriend before work. We were both really impressed by the aromatic coffee and the portions were really generous. The Breakfast Works was really yummy with the perfectly buttery scrambled egg and soft brioche toast!

If you’re feeling a little peckish, the Truffle Eggs Prosciutto is an equally excellent choice.

Yummy!
