Both my companion and I got this with the Burpple Beyond one for one. And it was Super disappointing. Check out that sad serving of tako. My companion’s one didn’t even have it. -.-

Thankfully it is for one for one so not so heartpain. Will not return again. Not sure if the chirashi dons without burpple beyond is any different but it should not be the case.

I would think this wasn’t too bad. Quite interesting. There’s actually something within the tamago that reminded me of the jian in oyster omelette. 🤔 I liked it but I do know of friends who don’t fancy it.

This was a disappointment. It’s way too peppery and salty. Friends and I all preferred mazesoba at Kajiken instead.

We were there during the second bowl 50% off promo which made it a bit better. But I’m certain that we will not return again.

This is also slightly spicy.

Can’t believe I have never tried this despite hearing about it for years! The curry goes really well with rice and I love drowning my rice in sauces (sinful but so good!!)

The braised pork is rly good and a must get. I really liked the fish cutlet too.

It’s really nice. I loved the soba and it’s sauce but nothing much to scream about. It is really like what everyone said it was. Nice but way too small a serving.

That being said, this was recommended to us by the staff and after visiting this place twice, this will be my go-to dish if I ever visit again. I will only visit if I’m in the vicinity, it’s not a place I would specifically make my way down for.

This dish looked and smelled so promising!! But it was really lacking in flavour... my partner and I both thought that it was probably due to too little cheese used? Really could be a lot better and definitely had a lot more potential!

Price wise it really wasn’t cheap even with the 1-for-1.

Wow this is sooo good. Really a hole in the wall kind of place. Barely 10 seats and they are ALL counter seats so may not be good for big groups. I’ve read reviews that the USDA is good enough and got this compared to the Wagyu beef option. There are only two options to choose from.

The chefs will cook the beef in front of you — they will ask how you would like it done first. I got mine in medium rare. Loved that it’s perfectly cooked.

Even tho I doesn’t look much but surprisingly very filling.

My partner really loved this while I preferred the swordfish bowl. They are really generous with their fish and ingredients! With burpple beyond I feel that this is really worth it and will return despite the lousy service.

I really liked this and with Burpple Beyond it makes it really worth it! There’s lots of fish for the price.

I gotta say that the place is severely understaffed and their Chinese staff is a little rude but otherwise it is ok. Beers are affordable at $7 a pint. There’s no gst to service charge too! I will return for their dons if I’m in the vicinity.

I really liked this starter! The mantou was good and I loved the crust. The sauce is good and the eggplants were well marinated and tasty! I will re order this the next time I’m there again.

Love their name! This was probably one of the best dishes that night. We ordered two servings of this! You really gotta look for the chicken pieces tho, there weren’t many but really juicy and crispy at the same time. It’s a must order for me.

This was pretty good but as one of their signature items it didn’t impress me a lot. It felt like I was eating wanton mee but we all enjoyed it quite a bit. I might reorder the next time I’m here.
