General portions served were smaller than usual Japanese restaurants.

Ordered the Kaisen Don ($38++) and Bara Chirashi Don ($28++) and the portions were extremely small. Even the rice wasn’t filled evenly and there were gaps around the edges.
It was simply a thin layer of rice with a very small portion of sashimi. Not value for money at all.

The pancake served in a hot pan was hot although there is nothing special about it, slightly oily and plain tasting.

The dish served is different from the photo shown in their menu as the coconut was in tiny strips instead of larger strips.
Coconut does not taste authentic.

Coconut ice cream’s coconut flavour isn’t strong.

Requested for coconut ice cream to be plated separately so that the pancake would not be soggy.

It seems like capellini was served instead of spaghetti and I do prefer capellini.
It was well cooked although slightly oily and portion was small.

Not spicy at all, even the red chilli slices on top of the pasta weren’t spicy when I ate them directly.

The Japanese broth is way too sweet and the portion of salmon is much smaller as compared to servings elsewhere.
