General portions served were smaller than usual Japanese restaurants.

Ordered the Kaisen Don ($38++) and Bara Chirashi Don ($28++) and the portions were extremely small. Even the rice wasn’t filled evenly and there were gaps around the edges.
It was simply a thin layer of rice with a very small portion of sashimi. Not value for money at all.

Aburi and unagi were soft, portion given could be more.

Portion of fish could be more, they included different types of fish roe which I didn’t enjoy.

Salmon was of poor quality.

Too many pieces of tamago and pickles.

Tasty ramen with tomato flavour, the lemon turned bitter after it was being soaked in the broth for too long. The taste of crab is very mild.
The broth could be less salty.

Tempura set that includes rice, anago, crab leg, prawn, fish, sweet potato, eggplant, red pepper and egg.

The anago is fishy and although they weren’t crispy when I had them, they weren’t soggy either. Portion of rice is small.

Option to choose spicy or non-spicy sauce.

Steak Box came with watermelon, miso soup, sashimi, deep fried chicken karage and prawn, steak slices, smashed potato salad, pickles and a bowl of rice.

Portion is filling, sashimi is fresh and good, steak was slightly too tough, the deep fried food is pretty normal.
