got the sourdough croissant with scrambled eggs and mushrooms! the croissant was delightfully flaky and crisp, and buttery; the scrambled eggs were also deliciously creamy, though the mushrooms were nothing to shout about. overall, a very satisfying plate!
we were initially a little hesitant to get the hawaiian because weโre not great fans of spam, but Iโm glad we gave it a shot! the chutney and aioli give the combination a nice kick and balanced out the spam very well so it wasnโt too greasy!
somewhat stuck in a mentaiko craze right now so when I spotted this in the menu, how could I have possibly said no?? ๐คช it was a very value for money set, since $18 gives you not just the sea bream, but also a serving of 2 pieces of soft shell crab, chawanmushi, a salad, miso soup and rice! the fish itself was not bad and I find myself coming back here quite often because of the very reasonable prices! but these sets are only available for lunch I think so definitely consider coming down for lunch instead!
who can miss out on truffle fries when dining at ps.cafe?? a tip is to ask for a half portion of the fries if youโre dining with fewer people so that you donโt waste it! itโs also cheaper so itโs a win either way!
love the sticky date pudding so decided to give this a try too and definitely donโt regret it! this somehow tastes less sweet than the sticky date one, maybe also because of the earl gray anglaise that this comes with! the hot pudding is just so good when paired with the ice cream ๐ would definitely recommend if you want a dessert but donโt have that much of a sweet tooth!

celebrated a birthday with dinner at shang palace was not disappointed by the food! this dish was probably the most expensive but definitely worth the price! the beef was tender, although the sauce could afford to be a little less salty. we also ordered the peking duck, but would definitely choose this over the duck
this came with a really generous serving of a mix of different kinds of salmon including aburi salmon and sashimi! I think itโs a good deal given how much salmon there is for the price! you can also top up $2 for a lunch set that comes with a salad, miso soup and hot tea.
seared beef and a poached egg drizzled with truffle soy sauce. the beef was tender with a hint of truffle. the rice was also unexpectedly good, really enjoyed this bowl!
after having tried almost all the noodle dishes at putien, their bee hoon is still my favourite and go-to dish every time I visit! I also really like the service here; they make sure to ask for any food allergies and you can request for less oil/salt in your dishes.
finally tried llaollao again (after they left and came back?) but was a little disappointed by what I tried. the yogurt was a little icy and wasnโt as creamy or milky as I remembered it to be, and the sauces while nice, became a little too sweet after a while and was a little difficult to finish...
probably my favourite as well ๐คญ got it in a love it size with a waffle for sharing so it was a little more expensive but there is a 15% discount when you pay by mastercard until the end of the year. would totally recommend getting their signature creation. you can also kind of customise the signature creations too; youโre allowed to change 1 ingredient to another one that you prefer. in my case, I swapped the caramel out for oreos ๐คช
