got the sourdough croissant with scrambled eggs and mushrooms! the croissant was delightfully flaky and crisp, and buttery; the scrambled eggs were also deliciously creamy, though the mushrooms were nothing to shout about. overall, a very satisfying plate!
who can miss out on truffle fries when dining at ps.cafe?? a tip is to ask for a half portion of the fries if you’re dining with fewer people so that you don’t waste it! it’s also cheaper so it’s a win either way!
love the sticky date pudding so decided to give this a try too and definitely don’t regret it! this somehow tastes less sweet than the sticky date one, maybe also because of the earl gray anglaise that this comes with! the hot pudding is just so good when paired with the ice cream 😍 would definitely recommend if you want a dessert but don’t have that much of a sweet tooth!
pulled pork, avocado and poached eggs atop rye toast! the pulled pork was really nice with a good smoky flavour!
this was served with two english muffins, crab cakes and poached eggs drizzled with hollandaise sauce. the egg was poached nicely with a runny yolk. portion was generous and filling. service was also superb with the staff being really attentive and helpful!
this cake was actually what drew us into the cafe in the first place! the slice was rather big and I really enjoyed how the cake wasn’t overly sweet with bittersweet matcha cream and dark chocolate that complemented the mildly sweet sponge really well! would definitely return for their cakes!
the portion is rather substantial (photo shows half!) with two sunny side ups atop pulled pork on pita bread. the pulled pork was flavourful and the pita was soft and fluffy. only gripe is that the presentation of this dish was a little underwhelming which explains the cut up and replated dish in the photo 😂
My go to when I visit PS.Cafe! Love the Turkish bread that holds everything together, and really like the tomato relish that is served alongside the sandwich. Chicken is a little on the drier side but overall a good dish!
The pairing of mushrooms and sundried tomatoes was very good and I practically wiped up the sauce with the sourdough. Sourdough was also good. The scrambled eggs were decent, albeit a little underwhelming.
