Crab Meat Scramble From Chock Full Of Beans Had the pleasure of enjoying a crab meat scramble egg for brunch on the east side of the island, and it was delightful! The eggs were perfectly fluffy, and the generous chunks of fresh crab meat added a rich, savory flavor. Paired with some crispy garlic toast, it made for an incredibly satisfying meal. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to start your day. Highly recommend giving this dish a try if you're in the area!

Malt vinegar slow braised BBQ, chicken thigh Very strong flavour of malt, soft meat with mashed potato below. Cute n yummy 2D art Earl grey chocolate drink as well:)

Salted Egg Roast Chicken Sandwich ($15). This is where I'll always drop by for a meal before I fly. It's located within the transit area so there aren't many opportunities for me to try the food here. 🔸 I like the bread for their sandwiches, they're made in house from scratch, and it's fluffy with a light crisp from the toasting. 🔸 We chose the honey herb roast chicken that came with salted duck egg sauce. The salted egg sauce is mild so the taste is still dominated by the honey herb. It also came with honey butter, burnt onions and mozzarella cheese. I think this is not bad, but I was told their roast beef sandwich is better!

Singapore Sling ($30). The concoction is made in house! What made this even more truly Singaporean than the traditional Singapore Sling is that they used Tiger Beer in the cocktail, which is also made with gin with cherry brandy, cointreau, and Benedictine Dom. 🔸 It's a sweet and refreshing drink, in a very large glass. It had enough alcohol for me so it knocked me out for my New York flight that night 😂 🔸 This was a treat from restaurant owner.

Butcher's Love ($12). Don't miss the chance to drop by this place if you're flying off from Singapore. This was my meal just before I flew to New York, taken at the airport transit lounge. 🔸 I liked their refreshing take on pizzas, as these are served on a puff pastry crust instead of the traditional pizza dough. I enjoyed the crust - crsipy, crumbly, light. 🔸 I also recommend this particular flavour as I felt that the ham used (parma, honey baked ham, prosciutto) goes really well with the cheeses (gruyere, cheddar, brie, mozzarella). This was also mixed with mushroom tempe, baby spinach, spicy miso. Several ingredients here but I believe you'll agree with me that it's very well balanced.

Damn Good @ $60(7 inch) Big Daddy Cake - Super Chocolatey with Nutella and Valrhona 1 of My favourite chocolate cakes, instantly, and this is my first time ordering and eating a cake from here. The cake was moist and solid, not those airy type of cakes. Every bite was so decadent-ally good. So rich and moist. The best combination for a chocolate cake. Best to be eaten within 3 days.

Moist Chocolate Cake For A good cause Between the Nicholas Bittersweet Chocolate Cake, pictured at the top (4inch @ $32) and the Big Daddy Cupcake ($3.80), the cake & muffin were both of the same chocolate cake base. Taste-wise: - Big Daddy has a predominant Nutella taste - Nicholas Cake is taste more chocolate and less sweet If you like your cakes/cupcake moist, this is an acceptable cake. The shop also advertises that part of their proceeds goes toward a good cause.

Sweet, Sweet Cupcakes Love them! It's really sweet (totally up my lane) but maybe too sweet for some. Love the chocolate the most, followed by salted caramel. Service could be a tad better though.

Sesame yuzu cake & white coffee The cake had great flavor and was light and fresh, not too sweet. Wish the cake could be slightly fluffier 😜. Coffee comes only in black r white and white comes only with oat meal. Complimentary cookie

Kopi, Kaya And Peanut Butter Fluffy coffee sponge with layers of homemade Peanut Butter and Pandan Kaya. Light and not jelat at all.

Salmon Grain Bowl ($15 Nett) Salmon cooked just nice (what I’m always looking out for), a good variety of ingredients that make the dish interesting enough! Especially love the barley included with quinoa, it’s not very common to come by :-) Plus the dou ya!!

The boyfriend and his fav TIT (Thai iced tea... what are you thinking about 😏)! Randomly found this cafe near our new place and it was not too bad. Other than the gush of weird smell upon entering the cafe, the food was quite good. But they should really work on the smell though. #domwatertype #shiokalaosaimax #burpple

Love The Place And Price Affordable pricing, the coffee is great and love their crockery used. Everything at this small and cozy cafe is so well thought of! We enjoyed our brunch here and will be back again.

Red Velvet Waffle W Ice Cream $10.70 Cones with cream cheese sauce. Top up of 0.80¢ for premium chocolate choice. Paired with Nama dark chocolate, condense milk and chocolate sauce at bottom. 2.5/5

Lychee sorbet on Buttermilk Waffles A nice humble ice cream cafe in the west (yesss) that serves a pretty good selection of flavours. The lychee sorbet, refreshing in the intense heat, was denser than the normal/icy sorbet. The buttermilk waffle was sweet but it could have been more crispy on the outside, and fluffier on the inside. 7/10, would return.

kaya toast @ food glossary such lovely coffee without their toast is almost a carnal sin. and how the hell do you say no to the kaya here! well balanced in taste without being cloyingly sweet, almost artisan in its own right.

Matcha Azuki Bingsu matcha bingsu topped with sweet azuki beans, chewy ricecakes and 2 sticks of matcha pocky 🍵🍧 the shaved ice melted too quickly :( the rice cakes were not bad, but overall this entire dish kinda fell short of the authentic bingsu taste, not sure why but I just felt like I was eating shaved ice with minimal toppings, which I personally wish that they could have been more generous with.

Thai Milk Tea Bingsu The shaved ice melted waaaay too quickly :-( However, this was such an interesting flavour and the sweetness was just right for me (probably because i've a sweet tooth hahaha) 😇

Green Tea Red Bean Bingsu The shaved ice melted too quickly :-( The rice cakes were not bad, but overall this entire dish kinda fell short of the authentic bingsu taste, not sure why but I just felt like I was eating shaved ice with minimal toppings, which I personally wish that they could have been more generous with.

Brunch situation at this sister outlet of @drurylanesg. Pretty standard pasta and lunch sets for the working class here but my salted egg linguine was a slight disappointment though it was the most expensive. —$12 The cajun chicken rice and curry katsu was around $5.50-$7.50. However, the cakes and coffee were pretty decent at this spacious cafe. So go for those if you are there.

Though their menu is small with some @inthebrickyard cakes, @drurylanesg coffee and a small selection of rice bowls, pastas, sandwiches and salads, the offerings are updated every few months so that you won't be bored dining here. On the flip side, if you particularly like any dish, it will sadly be gone within a few months. 📶 Featured: Salted Egg Yolk Linguine with breaded prawns, S$12 Nett (15% off for jtc staff) 📶 I am someone who prefers Aglio Olio/ tomato based pasta to cream pasta but I like this salted egg cream sauce. It is not too rich, probably due to the addition of curry leaves. It's also not too sweet or too salty, achieving a nice balance between the flavors. Spice level is low but chilli padi is added for that extra oomph.

Egg Noodles With Prawns, Seasoned Vegetables & Thickened Prawn Broth [$6.50] Fancy name but it is essentially our familiar Hokkien Mee! I actually visualized this to be more wanton mee style before it was served. Ingredients used were fresh and noodles were cooked more al dente. It's different but still fragrant and surprisingly decent. I would however, prefer to cross the street and get one from our hawkers next time!

Waffle & Ice-cream Price: $9.90; They have wonderful flavours of ice-cream to choose from. A nice & place to grab some desserts a chill with companies.

Available at this day-old ice cream cafe, With Luv, just a few doors down the famous Little Vietnam at Grandlink Square, 5-min walk away from paya lebar!
