ridiculous customer service went there on a tuesday afternoon, 2 pax, both students. showed them the page of the burpple 141 all day buffet before entering and the cashier said can use on that day. after finishing the meal, they charged me wknd adult prices for the 141! even though we were both students, and we went on a weekday lunch … charged me 30.80 for 2 pax when if without the deal, i would have paid 35.40 for 2 pax student lunch anyways. absolute clickbait when didnt even specify in t&cs of the deal itself, only told us after we finished the meal. dont ever go there what a misleading advertisement to attract customers.

Korean Tteokbokki Hotpot Buffet 4⭐️/5 (Applicable for burpple 30%) [Dinner buffet $19.90 + cheese ring $9.90 before GST] Pretty unique buffet with lots of variety like the tteokbokki, deep fried dishes and fish cake stewer. Ordered the classic soup which is sweet, flavourful and not spicy. The cheese ring contains sweet corn which I think should be left out, haha. Finishing the hotpot, there is an option to fry the rice with the left over soup base but I think the fried rice was a meh.

Ice cream one for one Two scoops for $5 is rly good for Lau Pa Sat. But you get what you paid for, ice cream isn’t really good quality but decent enough for the price. Got the pistachio and chocolate flavour. Definitely not the best ice cream but at least can get a place to sit in a slightly air conditioned place.

Lovely ice cream flavours! Been here for a few times already and the lychee raspberry flavours really don't disappoint! With the lychee flavour not being too prominent nor too artificial, it is complemented by the citrus raspberry flavours well. Definitely refreshing. I got it with the bandung cone, which surprisingly had a strong floral flavour! Definitely will be back to try other cone and ice cream flavours 😍

Dessert after lunch 🍨 Deal used: 1-for-1 gelato single scoop Got the raspberry lychee 🍧and my friend got the earl gray lavender! The raspberry lychee was really nice! It felt light and wasn’t overly sweet. And I think since the flavor wasn’t very ‘milky’ I didn’t feel so thirsty after (idk if anyone else gets really thirsty after having ice cream or that’s just a me thing…) but I wanna give the other flavors a shot so will try to go back!

Salted Carmelsso ($9.00) I've been a huge fan of @hook_coffee Drip Bags for a long time now, so I was stoked to try out their Barista creations! A delicious kick of Espresso ☕ laced with nutty, sweet Caramel 🍮 and topped off with Popcorn 🍿, just because. 😆 A tad on the pricey end, but worth a try! Personally, I'm a Flat White kinda gal so I will go for their basic drinks next time!

1-1 Dinner at Sarnies! First time at Sarnies to celebrate a special occasion :) Angus Beef Stew was really hardly and super delicious!! (Super tasty and flavorful gravy and nice portion of beef and sides). Glad the place feels super casual, cozy and has great ambience. Highly recommend the Breadcrumbed Fried Portobello mushrooms. Staff Haziq, Kim and Navi are super friendly. Can't wait to come back!

Lovely dinner dishes! I have been to @sarnies.sg consistently for a couple of years for their dinner fare and I must say that it's been consistently good all these while. One should not judge their cook just by their afternoon brunch fare, as the quality of their dinner items are just so much better. Their Angus Beef Stew ($26) came in a big plate, with loads of braised beef cubes in a comforting savoury sauce and a huge dollop of mash. I love how tender the beef was, and it was rich with spices. Mash was creamy and buttery! Next up, their Chicken Parmigiana ($24) is one sharing plate worth ordering. Just look at the amount of cheese on that huge chicken cutlet! It was fried to perfection while keeping the meat tender and juicy inside. Their Grilled Seabass ($25) is decent. Although the skin wasn't crispy, the meat was still rich, fresh and sweet. Love the char on the brussel sprouts! They have a promotion where 2 drinks gives you free truffle fries 😍 With that, good food and 1 for 1 dinner mains we got with #burpplebeyond, it's a place you have to go!

Tom Yum Noodle ($9.90) Sorry I was too hungry and started eating before I took this photo :P Actually not too bad a bowl of Tom Yum noodles - soup was savoury and a little spicy, and the noodles were chewy. They were quite generous with the seafood, there were a few chunks of fish and also 3 prawns. We also got the Gula Melaka Milk Tea with Pearls ($4.80), which was pretty average, some pearls were a bit hard on the inside. Overall not too bad, wouldn’t pay full price for this but it’s alright with the 1-for-1 Burpple deal. They are very flexible with the options applicable for the Burpple deal - the staff literally told me “everything also can”, which is a great plus point! Probably not for fussy eaters but as long as you don’t expect some amazing restaurant quality food here, I honestly think it’s a pretty okay option to just grab something casual, sit down and chat with friends with no pressure of dining time limits and such. We visited on a weekday night and it wasn’t too busy, didn’t have to wait too long to get our food either.

Indonesian dishes!!!!! Tried the Ayam bumbu rujak (grilled chicken) The sauce that came with it is great and the chicken is cooked well. It came with some deep fried green leafs. I’m not a fan of chicken but I believe people who like chicken will like this dish. The goreng pisang is GREAT!! 🍌 best dish I had here. Never had goreng pisang like this before. The batter was nice and the banana was not too soft and keep its texture. Which I love, I totally recommend and understand why this is their popular dish.

Indonesian mains!!!! Ordered the mie cumi and sop buntut. 🥘🫕 Actually quite like the noodle dish, it’s quite similar to mee rebus. Portion is middle size with a variety of seafood ingredients. The oxtail soup is good too, the soup is so refreshing and soothing. I never had oxtail soup so this is new for me, the oxtail soup came with huge chunks of meat too.

Indonesian food!!! Came here for lunch, chose the beef rendang. Really recommend this as the beef is so tender and the rendang is so flavourful. They even have some of the bitter chips. Would order this again - portion size is also good.

Mie Ayam Dish was quite salty. Had to add more soup into the dish to wash the saltiness away. The belachan chilli (Level 1) was pretty acceptable and goes well with the noodles! Overall, it was a pretty good dish. But a bit on the pricey side if we didn't use the Burpple 1 for 1.

Ayam Bumbu Rajak Grilled chicken thigh, pumpkin, baby kailan and balado sauce along with a plate of fragrant white rice and fried shallots. We absolutely loved this! The thigh was juicy and moist and the accompaniments done really well, though we definitely wished we had more of the sauce HAHAHA. Would definitely reorder this
