๐ธ Korean Soy Marinated Crabs SGD48
๐น Marinated Beef Short Bone-in Galbi SGD40
๐ธ Black Pork Belly SGD26
We were in Tanjong Pagar finding a Korean restaurant for early dinner and finally decided on @2d1nsojubang after seeing that they offer BOTH Korean BBQ and marinated soy crabs ๐ฅฉ๐ฆ๏ธ
The place had just opened its doors for the night, so there werenโt many customers nor employees yet ๐ฅฒ To be honest, the food wasnโt the best quality, but still up to par with the price, and all the staff who served us were super friendly - they even offered us a free bowl of jajangmyeon after hearing that we wanted to try it but were afraid we ordered too much ๐ฅฐ
Even though we didnโt have the K-BBQ buffet that most people come here for, we still ended up leaving super full, especially after finishing the complimentary banchan and ice cream ๐ฆ

When I first arrived here in Singapore, I was literally thirsty ALL THE TIME and constantly on the lookout for drinks to beat the heat ๐
Local coconut-based brand @mr.coconutsg kept up popping up in every shopping mall I went, so I finally decided to give it a try ๐ซ
Loved that we could customise our own drinks by choosing the sugar level, toppings and cup size on the self-ordering kiosk near the cashier ๐๐ป
The tropical juice would be the more refreshing and thirst-quenching option, but I personally preferred the milky and fragrant coconut shake that was sweet enough even without any sugar ๐ฅ
Located on the upper floor of Bedok Market Place (a nicely furnished hawker centre close to Changi airport), we visited @rongguangbbq to taste ๐ธ๐ฌ national delicacies
๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข ๐๐ซ๐๐
The sweet and spicy sauce was like a flavour party to our taste buds - there were hints of egg, ketchup and even ginger flower ๐ฆ๏ธ Besides complementing the fresh crab, it also went really well with a bowl of white rice, but the real Singaporean way is to pair with fried mantous ๐

This was my first time trying stingray and the unique meat texture totally caught me off guard - it kind of melted in my mouth, but was still firm at the same time ๐ฒ A bit spicy, but still highly recommended!

Crispy, juicy, tender - would you believe me if I told you that I ate 5 pieces all by myself? ๐
๐ธ Mini Red Wine Longan SGD16.8
Passed by @wupaochunsg ๐ธ๐ฌ flagship store in Capitol Singapore after service and my mom (who is visiting now) was super excited cuz she never got a chance to try this popular ๐น๐ผ bakery back in Taiwan ๐
Walking through the ๐ shaped door (kinda looks like cheese though) made me feel like a kid in a candy shop ๐ฌThe interior is super spacious and has all sorts of bread galore!
I was quite amazed by the wide variety of unique bakes inspired by local Asian culture, but we finally settled on their best-seller back in Taiwan - a loaf of red wine longan bread which boasts a world champion award from Paris ๐ซ๐ท
This is probably the most expensive bread that Iโve ever bought (you can probably get 3-4 meals at the hawker centre), but the portion and quality definitely justifies the hefty price tag ๐ธ
The texture itself was quite firm and chewy, but it was the quirky taste of sweet longan mixed with astringent red wine that ultimately won me over ๐ท
๐กTip: If you canโt finish the bread within 2-3 days, just put the remaining slices in the freezer and you can store them for up to 2 weeks ๐

You know how you can smell a LUSH store from faraway? Well, you also wonโt miss the irresistible bread aroma wafting out of @prooferboulangerie shops๐คค
One of their many outlets is super near my office, so I popped by for a takeaway lunch. They have all sorts of sweet pastries, savoury buns, and even a pizzeria right beside ๐ While I was trying to make up my mind, I could see the baker hard at work preparing fresh bread behind the counter ๐จโ๐ณ
My favourite was definitely the purple yam bun (yay I grabbed the last one ๐๐ป) It had a chewy mochi texture in the middle and still tasted delicious the next day when I had it for breakfast โ๏ธ

๐ธ Iced Chocolate SGD6.5
This was one of the first cafes that I visited when I first arrived in Singapore a month ago โ๏ธ I was in the buzzing Orchard area searching for a quiet place to work and randomly came across a nearby branch of @alchemist.sg on Google Maps ๐บ๏ธ
Tucked away on the rooftop garden of @shopdesignorchard where you can watch the world go by, the botanical cafe offers a limited menu of coffee and pastries ๐ฟ
There were quite a lot of people popping in and out when I came on a weekday afternoon, but the minimalist space did not feel packed with each table placed quite far apart ๐ฑ
I got myself a cup of iced chocolate, the only non-caffeine drink on the menu, and enjoyed the milky sweetness that covered the natural cocoa bitterness that I dread ๐ซ
In terms of work-friendliness, there is no limited dining time and the easy-going employees even proactively poured me a cup of water every now and then ๐ The only snag was that there was no free Wi-Fi in the cafe or nearbyโฆ

As Iโm still quite new to the local Singaporean food scene, @papistacossg was recommended by a friendโs friend ๐
Found out online that they just opened a new branch in Tanjong Pagar this May (btw TP is now my new fave neighbourhood with cute cafes and dessert places, plus A LOT of Korean BBQ restaurants for some reason๐)
Anyways, we came coincidentally for Taco Tuesday (3 tacos for the price of 2) and even managed to catch the last few minutes of happy hour (before 7pm) YAY cuz drinking in SG is damn expensive yโall ๐ฅ
A word of advice - itโs probably best to make a reservation online as we had to sit outside (luckily it wasnโt too hot) ๐ฅด
[๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐๐จ]
We loved the vibrant taste of the juicy pineapple chunks, which added some zing to the intense flavours of the Mexican sauces and marinated pork ๐ Also bonus points for how this wasnโt spicy at all!
[๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐]
Compared to the tacos, I preferred this more as it had a milder seasoning of verde salsa, plus the grilled beef was ultra tender ๐ซฐ๐ป
