Not going to start on the many painfully corny yet pho-nny pho puns (haha maybe just a couple), Mrs Pho offers some pho-bulous pho - perhaps one of the best I have tried.
Greeted by the friendly Vietnamese servers, the interior was nothing like I expected with the concrete walls and simple metal furnishings as if you have step out into a quiet back alley. And just like the uncomplicated decor, my bowl of Special Beef Combination Noodle Soup ($9.90) was wholesome and comforting.
Though I canโt say much about the authenticity as I have not been to the country, pho me, the broth was delicate and on the lighter side yet held a good depth of flavour from the sweetness of the spices. My order also comes loaded with thin and tender beef slices, meatballs, brisket, as well as a small bowl of soup with a half cooked egg on the side. Mixing everything in, it was just a solid bowl of noodles that had great texture (nice and springy), generous ingredients, an addictive savoury soup base and priced affordable. Pho-nomenal.
*Note they take cash only, learnt that the hard way.
Located at 24 Foch Road, Singapore 209263. Great late night supper with our all-time favourite Pig Organ Soup!! We love their pork balls which are so juicy and flavourful.. Soup is so tasty and delicious esp with Toufu and salted vegetables!! Most people donโt know, their soup is refillable so you just need to bring your bowl over to them for a free refill. Yayyyy! A warm and full tummy to end the Sunday! #hungryunicornsg #chengmuncheekee #chengmuncheekeepigorgansoup #pigorgansoup #pigorgan
One thing I have to say about the waffles is that they are unbelievably good! I stopped talking mid-conversation when I had my first bite because I could not believe how amazing it tasted. My friend and I would highly recommend the southern fried chicken waffle and red velvet triple stacked waffle! Don't be afraid to explore the savoury waffle sections of the menu, trust me, you will be giving your tastebuds a wonderful experience
The 70-year-old famous bak chor mee from Hong Lim is at Bukit Batok!

I love the springy noodles that's coated with the sauces, tangy vinegar and chilli. The ingredients was also very shiok - minced meat and lean meat was porky; wanton was plump with generous fillings, fried sole fish which lifted the dish with umami. The teochew dumpling soup was genuinely flavoured without the typical artifical msg taste, so I could drink them freely. Tip: add extra vinegar, self service.

๐ If not, why not check out Ah Bong's Italian that's conveniently located a stone's throw away from Bugis MRT. Well-known for their pasta, expect new surprises with their daily rotational menu! Psst: there's also an outlet at tiong bahru hawker centre but it's ceasing operations on 28 feb! ๐ข๐ข
My dad's modanyaki, which tasted really good too. Japanese mayo makes everything taste better ๐
I'm a cake person. And it's just terrible that i have to fall in love with their cakes cos these are so pricey :(
The Signature have always been my personal fave and the bane of my diet. The Matcha was okay but i guess perhaps cos im not a huge fan of matcha so i may not be the best judge. The seasonal flavour was the Earl Grey which was really fragrant and tasted like the milk tea from bubble tea shops haha. Sweet and milky and fragrant. ๐๐ผโค๏ธ
my friend and i got the MARINATED TOFU BIBIMBAP ($6.90) and the TERIYAKI CHICKEN BIBIMBAP ($8.50), as well as the DDEOKBOKKI ($4.90) for dinner and it was really good!
it felt really healthy HAHAHA as the bibimbap had loads of veggies and the taste was not compromised one bit!
the ricecakes were also really chewy and the sauce was amazing ๐ would definitely eat here again! :-)
The best Bingsu I've ever had so far !!!!!! And it is really oreo overload. A definite YES especially for anyone who loves oreo. They were so generous with the serving & it was only $6.80!?!?!?!!?! with no GST/Service Charge! Damn damn damn worth the price
This is Royal Milk Tea Napoleon Pie.
Like a mille-feuille meets waffles, this โNapoleon Pieโ is like a waffles sandwich, but includes elements of the Bubble Tea with addition of milk foam and pearls.

The agar did not melt-on-the-mouth, despite being soft on texture.
