Started with their calamari. Nice crispy skin with a juicy sotong inside! Many places’ calamari is tough to the bite, but this place get their calamari done right!
Shared a Pasta Alla Volka (with Squid Ink Pasta) with my girl and we loved it. Sauce is slightly spicy and flavourful. We both enjoy tomato-based sauce more! Pasta also nicely done.
We also had Ragu (with Pumpkin Rigatoni) and this sauce is creamier but good. The beef chunks are surprisingly tender! And a generous amount too! I also like the 2 pieces of deep fried onion chunks for that crispy texture change-up. Their rigatoni is cooked to al dente so this is a tad hard. So if you like your pasta not al dente then maybe you should skip this rigatoni.
We will return if we’re in the area!
We ordered the Shoyu Ramen set that came with Gyoza, and upgraded our hard-boiled eggs to ramen eggs, ocha and sake Ice Cream.
Ramen - noodle springy but portion on smaller side but enough for ladies. Soup broth is robust with a good wok-Hei injection. We like that!
Gyoza and Ramen eggs - average but good enough.
Sake Ice Cream - vanilla ice cream laced with sake. I love how the sweetness from the ice cream has the tinge of sake on it.
I ordered middle spicy and it has got kick! Tasty and spicy. Great with plain rice.
Always a joy to have this as dessert. Unhealthy like mad but oh-so-good…
Here you choose the pasta and sauce and then you choose what meat to add on to complete the dish.
So we had the Chicken Aglio Olio and Salmon Creamy Pasta.
Chicken Aglio Olio - chicken is well seasoned, tender and tasty. The skin is well fried and crispy which is nice! We opted for spicy pasta and it does pack a small punch! Nice. The pasta itself can be more al dente.
Salmon Creamy Pasta - salmon skin is fried crispy without causing the salmon to go hard, it’s still moist. Pasta portion is generous and we like it!!!!
Will return again!
Although it had the name molten, the cake didn’t have a runny hot insides. That was a tad disappointing truthfully. The ice cream was nice but also a little to get ice cream wrong yah? This dish is honestly assembled so don’t expect too much.
The jar that the Tiramisu comes in is very fancy…but small. I found it a tad dry but delightful enough.
Delicate on taste buds. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still very tasty. I had this sauce with their handmade pasta and the pasta was well made, soft but not mushy.
Delightful and flavourful. Generous amount of crabmeat too. Definitely will order again.
This should be good because my 8 year old ate the WHOLE burger... unassisted! This only happens when she is super hungry or food is good. The Burger had bacon strips and quite saucy as a burger.
My daughter didn't like the shell pasta but she still polished the whole tray of baked pasta! Haha... the sauce base is tomato with cheese over it. Think it's more lasagna than Mac & Cheese really.
