Citron Tart The Citron Tart ($11.47) features a golden trio of orange, grapefruit and pomelo on top of lemon curd, orange marmalade and an almond tart base. This is juicy, tangy and citrusy, with the sour and sweet notes complementing each other perfectly. This reminds me of a Japanese paper balloon - so pretty🎏!

Mont Blanc Delicate strands of French chestnut cream piped onto a shortcake of chantilly and sliced Japanese chestnuts. Not a fan of Mont Blanc, but this cake may just start to change me. The Chestnut cream was light & Fluffy texture, tasted Mildly flavourful and creamy. Strawberries were fresh as well.

Babyccino 🥛Babyccino ($4++) The cheapest drink available on the menu and my friend got it because getting a drink was compulsory… it’s literally just foamed milk in a shot glass. Cute but insanely overpriced😩

Matcha & Sea Salt Chocolate 🍵 Matcha ($7.50++) This is really good, strong matcha taste and a fragrant milkiness to it! Not too sweet either. However the price is really steep. 🍫 Sea Salt Chocolate ($7.50++) When they name this sea salt chocolate, they mean it. Its like a chocolate drink but its liberally salted, not too salty but it may be a little acquired for some.

Waffles with Strawberry Compote, Vanilla Ice Cream & Granola 🧇 Waffles with Strawberry Compote, Vanilla Ice Cream & Granola ($15.90++) The waffle was pretty soft and fluffy, and was well complemented by the tart strawberry compote and sweet vanilla. I really liked the crunchy granola bits too! A pretty solid waffle and its quite decently priced compared to their other menu items.

Shrimp Croissant ($12.90) Don’t like the combo. It’s quite thoughtful to put the lettuce under the shrimp so that the croissant doesn’t become soggy. But the shrimp was pathetically small, the sauce is very generic. Cannot taste the shrimp or the buttery(ness) of the croissant. Maybe the other combinations will be better Here to just do work anyway. Should have settled my lunch elsewhere and ordered a drink 🙃

Matcha Bingsu Matcha bingsu is nicely presented and comes with condensed milk. Bingsu is not too sweet and toppings is generous. Worth it to share with friends and family

Scones and Americano ($8.50)  Coffeesmith Scones and Americano ($8.50)  Price Rating: $$  Ambience: 3*  *Drum roll*  Okay! On episode 2 of us finding the best scones, we have our next candidate: scones from coffeesmith!  When you bite into it, the scone is buttery, moist, chewy and doesn’t just fall apart like it’s cheaper alternatives. Goes really well with a cup of Americano as you sit in the cafe and people watch.

french toast with sausage ($12) drop by shen and co for simple, unassuming yet affordable brunch! ive gotten their french toast with scrambled eggs and cheese sausages ($12) a few times and it never fails to disappoint! scrambled eggs are silky smooth, toast is well flavoured! their latte ($5.50) comes in a super big cup with a nutty aftertaste.

Savoury French Toast ($10.50) Served with scrambled eggs and bacon bits, the French toast was drenched with butter. It was flavourful but slightly too oily. Did not order any drinks as the cafe does not serve any milk alternatives like oat milk. We enjoyed the nice ambience of the cafe decorated with antique furniture!

Great For Working Lunch Had the big breakfast and drink, very friendly staff and easy-going with free WiFi and charging point.

Lychee Ice Tea $6 | Tucked in a corner of Rainbow Centre in Margaret Drive, a nice quiet cafe that is managed by students with development disabilities, definitely worth trying!

Ondeh Ondeh Cake $6 | A nice little cafe in a quiet corner of Queestown, serves a wide range of coffee, tea and light bites! Fluffy cake but slightly sweet for my liking.

A Beautiful Café with Beautiful Heart. Its location may provide some indication of its mission, as it is found within Rainbow Centre at Margaret Drive School. Therefore, Seeds is a vocational training ground for persons with disabilities so that they can transit to open employment, and a platform to advocate for a more inclusive community. Tie Guan Yin Oolong Cake this was their birthday cake for their 4th birthday! we were lucky to snug the last cake! we bought this as part of their tea set which allowed you to choose one tea and one cake for $22! i really enjoyed the cake. it wasn’t too sweet, had a pretty distinct tea cake and a biscuit base.

Very nice place with ambience Ordered the French toast n waffle breakie, very nice French toast, and both the breakfast comes with generous portion. Very filling after eating. Like their idea of using waffle for the breakie instead of usual bread.

Knots burger $30 Nice decor with a lot of plants. Green with a garden vibe. The food was okay. Nothing great but not bad at all. I figured people come here for the insta photos and not the food. I ordered the beef Burger and the shrimps aglio olio with some green juice and affogato coffee on the side. Burger and drinks were good. Pasta was ordinary. Overall spent $60, which I did not regret at all. But don't see myself coming back soon. Oh also they don't not accept credit card or pay wave, which is really old considering the high price point

Knots cafe Nice chill cafe with alot of plants.

Bravery Chicken Ragu Bravery Chicken Ragu ($18) features a piece of herbed chicken thigh on top of al dente spaghetti tossed with mushroom and roasted vegetables in creamy ragout sauce. The chicken is tender and moist, while the sauce is creamy but not too heavy. Cream pasta is not usually my first choice of pasta but this was enjoyable. The portion is very generous as well. Yums!

Lavender Latte ($6) Your typical latte but with the fragrance of lavender. Coffee was standard but the lavender made it quite unique - it was an interesting coming together of the aromas. The dried lavender bits can be quite strong so you may want to avoid actually chewing into them if you’re not a fan of strong aromas. I wouldn’t get this again but it was interesting to try. Visited on an afternoon of a Public Holiday and the cafe was not too busy, had some seats available for my friend and I. Staff were friendly.

Banana Walnut Muffin $5 Great taste, lovely texture with walnuts . Absolutely value for money at this price. 5 stars

Chocolate Protein Shake $8 Nice shake. Full of flavor. I requested a coffee shot to add flavor, which the staff happily did. Service is fast. Price is extremely good. Absolutely value for money. 5 on 5 I forgot to use my burrple 1for1 offer here, but they do honor it. Please don't forget

Turmeric Latte This is so hard to find in Singapore, much less using burpple beyond! I like my spiced drinks to be REALLY strong tasting and this nailed it. Only order if you like masala/cinnamon/cardamom/Indian spice things tho - - my boyfriend was not a fan.
