the soft serve is creamy with bitter dark chocolate notes. depth of flavour dark chocolate wise it's probably a 6.5-7/10 - not super deep but strong enough to think "ah, this is a solid dark chocolate ice cream", and light enough that one can finish most of the cone. If you are looking for a sweet dessert this is not it. the cone was good. That said, $9.50 is really expensive for an ice cream :") defo not value for money unless you have a very specific craving there are definitely cheaper/more creative alternatives available
quite an enjoyable textural experience with the crunchy cong + light clouds of meat + salty clear broth. But taste wise not super porky. It is more reminiscent of chicken rice soup with a pork slant + pork ingredients (meatballs, pork slices). Still a nice accompaniment to the noodles though!!
Ordered the mee kia dry + chili. One of the better bak chor mees out there. Noodles were cooked just right, doing doing kind. gave generous amount of meatballs, wanton, liver, minced pork and lard. Got some dried salted fish also which is great and not too overpowering too. The dry sauce is very flavourful and less vinegary compared to the Hill Street one so you can request for more vinegar from the auntie if you are a vinegar lover! But I thought it was good enough without :)
This was alright. Both the houjicha and milk tastes were quite strong. 10/10 for the seahorse (I hope it was supposed to be a seahorse!!)
This was unexpectedly good. So many tastes and textures stacked so delicately on a plate!! From top to bottom - crispy prosciutto, creamy melon ice cream, a thin but sufficient skirt of pickled melon, and a light yoghurt mousse over a spongy base = a refreshing type of sweet with tangy+umami notes. If you are team ice cream + fries like I am, I think you will enjoy this too :) I only wish there was more of it to eat :(
This pasta was so fragrant we could taste it with our noses (in a good way)!!! Generous amounts of a truffle infused mushroom medley + slightly melted and sticky parmigiano over the al dente rigatoni = very enjoyable textural experience as well. Portion was quite large :)
Main tasting notes: warm, meaty and savoury. Rigatoni was al dente and sauce on the buttery/creamy side, sufficient to coat (or stuff into) the pasta yet not too overpowering. Serving size was pretty large :)
