This is such a wonderful spot for dim sum! It is conveniently located near Maxwell MRT, just 2mins walk, and it serves traditional, handmade dishes! I ordered the congee, which was flavourful and silky, and had quite a handful of century egg and minced pork in it. The carrot cake was crisp outside, and savory inside, with just the right seasoning. And the har gao was a highlight, the delicate chewy skin and fresh shrimp used, made every bite satisfying. Everything felt freshly made and full of care — I’ll definitely be coming back!
I recently tried Salmon Warrior. I ordered the Cheesezille Chicken Udon and it was super flavorful and filling. They were generous with the variety of sides that paired perfectly with the cheesy sauce. I also got the Miso Soup, which was aromatic, and the Yakitori Sticks, where the chicken was tender, and well-seasoned. The takeaway experience was great too — everything was prepared quickly and held up well on the way home. Overall, Salmon Warrior delivered a delicious and satisfying meal, and I’d definitely order from them again when I’m craving something tasty and convenient.
The Sri Lankan Chicken Focaccia Sandwich offered an enjoyable medley of textures and flavours. The lightly spiced curry chicken was complemented by a crisp hash brown, fresh romaine, and tangy pickled red onion, all brought together with a bright lime yoghurt. Each bite balanced richness with freshness beautifully.
Accompanying the meal, the Earl Grey Lychee Cold Brew Tea stood out for its refined aroma and refreshing fruit notes — a fragrant, cooling contrast to the warm spices of the sandwich.
The 200-day grain-fed Stockyard ribeye with nam jim jaew was a highlight — exceptionally tender and beautifully enhanced by the accompanying salt. The snow pork tsukune with cured egg yolk introduced an intriguing flavour. Closing with the burnt toast ice cream sandwich, accented by banana crumbs and mint, brought a refreshing sweetness that rounded out the meal with finesse.
I tried the 36° South grass-fed ribeye, and it was executed beautifully — perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavourful with just the right amount of seasoning to let the beef shine. The burrata was delightfully creamy, offering a rich cheese flavour and a well-sized serving.
The Cordyceps Flower Kampung chicken soup is pure gold, with a rich broth and tender chicken. The signature jade tofu was super crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside, with a exquisite flavour.
The CheeseZilla Chicken Udon was a gooey, delightful mess of stretchy cheese and incredibly tender, flavorful chicken. The Salmon Miso Soup was a pleasant surprise, loaded with big chunks of salmon and fresh vegetables.
Tried the Cheese Baked Spaghetti with pork chop in cream sauce and HK style Milk Tea. The portion was generous and the HK style Milk Tea was very strong and was served in a interesting manner.
I started my meal with the soup of the day, which was the Tomato Soup. The soup was piping hot and had a delightful, rich tomato flavor that truly stood out. It was accompanied by a perfectly crispy baguette, adding a delightful crunch to each bite.
For my main course, I couldn't resist trying the Truffle Mac n Cheese. I was pleasantly surprised by the strong truffle taste that permeated the dish. The portion size was generous, and the dish was incredibly cheesy, making it a truly indulgent experience. The restaurant didn't skimp on the ingredients, ensuring that every bite was packed with flavor.
The broth had a rich prawn taste that was absolutely delicious. The pork rib was cooked to perfection, with a tenderness that melted in my mouth. The soup was refillable, which allowed me to enjoy the delicious broth to the fullest.
