Beef Brisket This was not that good due to the overwhelming flavour of the sauce. It is quite salty and after eating a few mouths, you might find it too much to digest. $10.50 but will not recommend this dish.

1/2 Chicken Dish The chicken is really tender and moist. The sauce tasted just nice to eat with the rice, but if you are only eating the chicken alone with the sauce, it might be alittle salty. Take a dip into the garlic and ginger sauce before putting in your mouth for flavour! Can be shared among 4 or 5 pax with other dishes, at $16.00

Fried Tofu This is priced at $7.50. Good enough for 3 or 4 to share with other dishes. The fried garlic and onions went well with the tofu. And alittle chilli padi.

Avocado Gula Melaka Tried a few of their flavours and found this one to my liking. Its rare to find an Avocado flavoured gelato, making this a rather interesting and unique flavour. Gelato was smooth and thick, being not too sticky. Buttery sweet, it came with a faint flavour of Gula Melaka which only comes after a few scoops. Overall, it wasn't too impressive, but a comforting flavour to have if you are in for something unconventional.

Ge!ato! So many tempting flavours to choose from! Eventually went for Chocolate and Tiramisu for my Rose Gelato ($4.50)! Ice cream was milky but I thought it could also be a tad thicker. Maybe I will try it on its own in future without the cone.

Rum & Raisin + Hazelnut New place at Sembawang Shopping Centre. Rum & Raisin was rich in alcohol but Hazelnut was slightly too sweet for my liking.

Typical Bee Hoon Breakfast It's really rare to find something delicious in sembawang and I would say this hidden gem in the interchange sells really good food.

Aburi Broccoli Salad Woah! This bowl of broccoli was really beyond my expectation! The broccoli was torched to crisp. Together with the parmasan cheese and papadom sprinkled on top, which added an extra point to the dish itself. Recommended 👍🏼

Char Siu Pulled Pork Fries Is just shoestring fries mixed with nachos cheese and pulled pork. Not much of char siew taste

Roasted Salmon With Ebiko Scrambled Eggs And Edamame Mash Salmon was baked to a nice softness. Scrambled eggs was just quite normal, but the edamame mash gave this dish an extra oomp! Recommend 👍🏼

Mushroom With Veg My kids love the mushroom. The thick sauce goes well with the mushrooms and veg.

Daily Scoop Phase 2 just started so HURRAY ice cream time😝 (Please stay safe still!!) Ordered a waffle with hazelnut and butterscotch icecream! Wanted to try the speculoos but it was not on display that day😪 Total spent was $11.60 and I would say it instantly became one of my fav ice cream shops!😋 Ice cream quality 👍🏻🤪💯 Do try it for yourself if you are around Yishun Area!!

Do You Have A Scoop? Lovely durian ice cream here. I always like to just order a simple scoop of Maoshanwang ice cream topped with nuts! Cool neighbourhood creamery in the north!

Butter Cream Prawns ($20/30/40) Massive fresh prawns sitting in a pool of nutty and buttery sauce. Shiok!

Curry Fish Head ($23/28/33) It's been a long time since I last had this. My favourite part of curry fish head is not the fish, but rather the lady fingers, tau pok, and the curry that they are soaking in. 🤤 This curry hit the spot for me - super thick, tangy and (just nicely) spicy. The fish was nice too, we cleaned it off - eyeballs included. My only gripe about this place is that for a zichar place, the food took a lot longer than average to be served. We were soooooo hungry by the time the food came.

Claypot Tofu Came bubbling hot but while the basic flavours are there, the tofu felt relatively stiff and the gravy wasn't as thick and gooey as we thought it would be. Passable, but not great.

Cozze in White Wine Sauce [$14.90] Cozze in White Wine Sauce was served in generous portion. Order a garlic bread to go with it too!

Honey Bourbon Porkloin [$16.90] The Honey Bourbon Porkloin was tender and grilled to the right done-ess. Love it! Seems like I found a gem in Sembawang when my friend brought me here! A country-style restaurant that serves decent and affordable western food. Takes me back to when I visited such restaurants during childhood. Just kinda inaccessible but I will return again for the nice ambience and food :)

Saucy Wings The taste was not too bad. It was sweet rather than spicy. I prefer spicy though.

Garlic Fried Pork Belly One of the recommended dishes at Malu Malu seafood. Pretty big plate for us 2 girls. On the first bite I was quite doubtful of how nice it could taste, felt like the taste of garlic was overpowering. As I took the subsequent pieces, I realised that it was actually the aroma of the garlic that complemented well with the crispy but pure 'oily' taste of the fried pork belly, giving it a delightful taste. Pretty unique dish! I couldn't stop eating the whole garlic eventually. #BurppleMajulahMakan

Signature fried bee hoon When I first read about this signature fried bee hoon by a fellow burppler, I knew I had to try it. This chao tar bee hoon looked as though it was calling out to me even through the pictures! Be prepared to travel to the ulu industrial place for it though. For $5, it was really worth it for this portion given, and the ingredients hidden under the disguise of the egg and bee hoon. Also in it were lots of bean sprouts, fish cakes, prawns and sotongs. Guess the slightly chao tar portions added a distinct flavor and crispiness to it too!
