Woodlands residents might have lost Two Plus One Creamery at The Woodgrove, but newly-opened in its place is Rabbit Owl Depot's second outlet — yes, I am still slowing trying to take in that fact as well. Interior decor is largely reused from what Two Plus One have left behind, which is vastly different from the original Rabbit Owl Depot branch at North Bridge Road. The menu here is also smaller with lesser ice-cream flavours (many of them were sadly of the safer and more predictable options) and a few variants of their Snowflake Waffles.
Opted for the Chocolate Melt Snowflake Waffle which comes with chocolate buttons within — actually pretty much loved the waffle especially how crisp, fragrant and buttery it is with the portioning pretty comfortable for one pax. That being said, I thought I would have enjoyed it even better if it came with the chocolate buttons melted even further. The Wildflower Honey and Milk ice-cream was one of the more interesting options that they carry — one of the lighter flavours that they have which has a hint of floral aroma and honey sweetness that comes complete with a milky finish at the end.
PS: They don't have an espresso machine in-house, but they have tied together with FOH Cafe that is conveniently located beside them to provide for coffee orders.

Found this hole in a wall bakery using the #burpple app! A little pricey but i guess there must be a reason why this tiny hole in the wall bakery can keep raising its prices and yet remain popular right?
Impressed by their chicken waffles, this time I'd ordered their 3P Burger($24). It is amazig how much meat they can squeeze into this burger. There is the 3 P's (Pulled Pork, Pork Belly, Candied Bacon), red cabbage slaw, apple sauce, jalapeño aioli and fried onions. There's so much in between the 2 buns that I had a hard time devouring it, not that I'm complaining though 😝 . Definitely my new favourite in this place. 😋
Always on the lookout for new dinner spots to impress your date? This flamboyant space on the first floor of M Social Singapore (not to be confused with Studio M Hotel) is the place to bring your beau. The massive pad is decked with lava lamps, chandeliers projecting artworks and even a sprawling wall of 40 iPads displaying visual art pieces specially designed by French icon Philippe Starck — all great as conversation starters. Together with their bold East-meets-West dishes, expect a novel dining experience here. Start with the Simply Scallop ($24) — Hokkaido scallops served carpaccio-style, drizzled with a tangy yuzu and ginger marinade. Then, try the Great Rack of Lamb ($36), where unbelievably tender mutton meat is marinated with oriental spices and served with steamed glutinous rice and Sichuan peppercorn, while the Lobster Porridge ($28), Executive Chef Bryce Li's specialty, is a comforting bowl of Teochew porridge teeming with abalone slices and topped with a lobster. Finish the meal on a high with the Yam Brulee ($10) — a twist on the traditional Teochew dessert topped with coconut ice cream.
Avg price: $50 per person

Not your average hipster cafe run by ex bankers hit by mid life crisis, this is an authentic German cafe complete with walls of cuckoo clocks and a trio of cheery middle aged minstrels belting tunes. The cafe offers authentic German food and of course, a selection of full bodied beers. The pork knuckle was good for its price ($18) with its tender meat, crispy skin that crackles and yummy potato salad! But what really made the meal was the whole combination of good food, good beer and live music and fantastic ambience. Guten tag!
One of the best blackforest that I ever ate in my whole life. It is rich with flavours, making this cake must be in your "must-order" list when you go here.
The strange ("ooooooo the claaaaaaaw") looking food is Paw Pia Tod ($6.80) which is essentially deep-fried prawn spring rolls served with Thai sweet chilli sauce. Looked hard but surprisingly was very crispy and I liked that it wasn't too oily.
Tom Yum Talay ($12.80) - Tom yum seafood soup, loved the flavours of sweet, tangy spiciness coming together but a little too greasy for me. And kinda spicy by my poor spiciness standards.
Tom Kha Gai ($12.80) - my favorite dish to order in every Thai restaurant cos' I love tomyum but can't take overly spicy food - this is simmered in thick coconut milk broth and chicken without being too heavy on the palate.
Pla Muek Yang ($13.80) - I liked the Thai sweet sauce that came with this beautiful smokey flame-grilled squid. Not so much a fan of its texture, the ones I had were a little dry.
Gai Tod Tom Yum ($8.80) - this tantalizing well marinated deep fried tomyum chicken wings has got to be my favorite starter!! So crispy, yet still tender and juicy.

Had an enjoyable time at this marina-front dining with great food from Gin Khao. Thanks Burpple for the invite!
Start your weekends right with @proofandpudding's Granola Yoghurt Parfait ($5.90) - wholesome & pack with fibrous goodness! These are available today NOW at @grinaffair Bishan outlet!
Really liked how the pot yoghurt is mildly sweetened with agave nectar (sweetness level customisable as well) and isn't as sour as the usual Greek Yoghurt!
Pictured here is the Lemon Pecan Granola, spiced with the sweet zesty lemon flavour on their basic granola base that is filled with ancient grains (Chia Seeds, Quinoa, Millet Seeds), Multi-Grain & Seed (Rolled Oats, Buckwheat, Pumpkin Seeds, Sunflower Seeds), then lightly sweetened With Agave Nectar, Coconut Palm Sugar) with oil and seasoning (Coconut Oil, Himalayan Rock Salt) and some additions of Lemon Oil, Pecan Nuts!
What I just listed is what is ALL inside their granola, no extra anything!
If you really liked what you tried, go ahead and purchase one packet to try for your daily breakfast (from $6.50) ✌🏻️
Classic chicken bowl - grilled chicken with onsen egg, added on grilled zucchini and shitake mushrooms atop a bed of Japanese rice.
Chicken was superbly tender, egg perfectly runny and mixed well with the soft bed of Japanese rice!

Besides coming in a hearty portion, this is one very attractive looking salad. Chef Darren's expert combination of roasted pumpkin, green beans, pickled beetroot, quinoa, dried cranberries, sprouts and seeds, all tossed in a whey dressing, conjures up a fresh combo that simply dazzles with multiple flavours and textures.
I couldn't resist adding on the house-smoked mackerel for $6 more because Burpple Tastemaker Julius Lim had highly recommended it. Well, the fish turned out to be really yummy on its own (gently tangy and soft to the bite) but even better when it played off the sweet elements in the salad.
Having had this dish for the first time today, I now understand why it is one of the most popular items on the menu.
The glistening, the marinate, and the melt in your mouth fatty char Siew. Wanna have this again. By the way, Char moved to Jalan Besar, no new geotag yet.
Warning: close ups of fatty char Siew may cause hunger or unease.
