Had the beef cubes don buri. After consuming the meal, I have to say that the meat portion is quite generous.
The food came quite fast maybe because the whole place was apparently reserved and the waiter told us that because of our impeccable timing, there was a table for us to eat. Thank you so much for the stars to align and providing us with a table. So maybe next time y’all should reserve a table too just to be safe.

Food came with some dark colored rice. Actually I am not sure of the supposed color because as you can see the lighting is already dark. But from my palate I could taste the seaweed and some tobiko.

Beef was tender and well cooked. Also beef was dark colored too. So I am guessing the whole theme of the restaurant is dark colored food and choice of color will be the 1 egg and yellow radish. This strategy to use color seems to have little effect on me as the egg taste the same and the radish is still a radish. But I mean, if everything is dark and you can’t really see what you eating I am guessing that even if something was amiss in your food, no one knows. So perhaps there are some merit to this dining experience.

I for didn’t know there was unlimited sides till after the meal. Don’t make that mistake. Harness your inner Singaporean and take as much Ikan bilis, tofu, ikan bilis, unknown potato and kimchi as you can. No I did not stutter. Take the ikan bilis which taste surprisingly nice, almost like it just swam in msg water and got cooked immediately.

Jajangmyeon was delicious. I mean it’s just black bean sauce with ultra thick pro max Maggie mee noodles. Lots of cucumber for color contrast. I mean I have no idea why cucumber though.

Had the seafood pancake too because the original pancake was out of stock. Remember waiting for some time before the pancake arrive. Properly because either they were still fishing for my seafood to keep it as fresh as possible or the kitchen is still in the Joseon era and they are still gathering fire wood to keep the stove burning. But ultimately the pancake was worth the wait and it was huge. Almost like a medium seafood pizza just that instead of cheese they put Korean spices.

If Maggie mee msg were on steroids. That’s how it would taste like. The noodles was extremely soft, definitely nearly sending me home to my jia xiang. The food came with wanton, vegetables, char siew and chili. The chili is superrrrr delicious it’s almost like they fed the chili tree msg water throughout its lifetime and chopping it off.

Soup was so delicious that I drank it in 5 mouths. Or now thinking back maybe the bowl was just smol

When apes first saw fire they were in awww. That’s how I felt when they set fire to my ramen. Adele set fire to the rain I saw fire in ramen. The drink was super good. It looks like plain water but taste like Evian version of tea.

Food came with some dumplings too and ice cream. Not just any ice cream but sake ice cream.

Starting with the mushroom soup which is as the first word in the store name suggest. Common. But hey, nothing wrong with that. It’s still edible.

Next up is the chicken chop with sausage aglio olio. The sausage makes me wonder if the amount of oil used to cook the sausage is causing the rise in oil prices or inflation in food prices. It could very potentially be that common grill is hogging all the oil to make the sausage. It’s juicy but maybe too oily. The chicken chop is surprising tender so kudos on that. The aglio olio looks pretty, smells nice but somehow make me wonder if I have Covid because I can’t taste anything. Or it could be that after the sausage the layer of oil just blocks all the taste buds pores.

Thankful for the ice lemon tea which help me unclog my arteries.

All in all worth it for the amount of oil they use in making that sausage!

Had one of the most value of dollar meal. Food was so good that I could hear the tuk tuk sounds while eating. The drink was so sweet that if HPB was there they would cry tears of joy for my health. The dessert was so delicious that I would have ran 10kms to eat one bite of that heavenly toast

Food was excellent but super expensive. Not sure if they put salt on the food, or my tears but the food was abit strong in taste. The ambience was great because every second my money was flying away for that 10 strands of pasta.
