When I think of pizza, I think of Basilico’s truffle pizza. Stuffed with different cheeses and truffle, it’s amazing.
I’ve had the lunch sets, dinner sets and sunday brunch; and this dish stands out to me.
A slice goes along way and it still tastes good the next day when you reheat it in the air fryer.
Had the 3 course meal (lunch). The appetiser and desserts are amazing. They had basque burnt cheesecake for the desserts and its the best I had.
Mains were alright, the pork was too heavy for my palate. The Uni squid ink pasta was something I’m not used to; I prefer my Uni like sashimi. Maybe I’ll try the fish next time.
Had the barachirashi, monaka cracker with Uni and Truffle, salmon sashimi with renkon crackers and sweet potato croquette.
I don’t drink so I’d skip the salmon sashimi with renkon (lotus root) crackers, I’d imagine it pair very well with alcohol.
What stood out was the sushi rice in the barachirashi, great balance of flavours that complimented the seafood medley. Uni was of good quality.
Ordered the Rice Rolls with Scallop, XO fried carrot cake, Har Gow and egg tarts. Every dish was amazing. Wished we had more stomach space to try more dishes.
Went for the $168++ Omakase meal here (though it’s a dinner option, it’s also available during lunch). Decor is rather no-frills with a touch of Japanese; the highlight here are the dishes.
The sashimi here are aged differently, it brings out the best of sashimi! You will know once you take a bite; the Otoro transported me back to Nara.
The meal here is unforgettable. Recommended to pair it with a glass of homemade Umeshu 🥃
She should know best.
In her exact words, “Hakka Salt Chicken, Claypot XO Tunghoon, Mandarin Orange Pork Ribs, Soy Sauce Chicken (my fave), Claypot Fish Soup with Chinese Wine, Egg White Vemicelli, Homemade Beancurd with Fish Paste and White Cabbage. You are making me hungry now!” Hungry?

Checked out a new place for lunch and was pleased with the fresh and tasty Lebanese cuisine. The Mezze Platter ($25) features sprightly tabbouleh, creamy hummus, smoky babaganoush, a fatoush salad and crispy falafel. Simply perfect for sharing. Just order some pita bread (I think it's $4 for 2 pcs) and start wiping up everything with it. If you aren't into very firm, chewy and salty cheese, I suggest you skip the grilled haloumi. I don't mind it myself personally but the one at Artichoke is much, much better.
KEK’s Salted Egg Yolk Crab Spaghetti. The pasta are given a light toss and coated with grainy but not too cloying salted egg sauce, curry leaves and topped with salted egg soft shell crab.

This bowl simply turn the tables for fried food for me! Love it how non greasy and oily each piece is, locking in all the flavours the food originally have! The sweet, custardy pumpkin, fresh crunchy prawns, even the long beans are sweet and flavourful 🙀
Best thing of all? This bowl of fully filled tempuras will only set you back by $13.90, comes with a side of chawanmushi and miso soup (and fresh flow vegetable pickles) 😻 Can't believe it took me so Long to try this out!!

The best burrata! Chef placed it deftly on the grill to give it a slight char. Love it's milky taste and smooth texture.
Inspired by their love of simply good burgers and beer, Two Blur Guys has succeeded in providing exactly that. Go straight for their Prime Beef blurgur ($12.50) - a well-seasoned 100% US pure beef patty topped with a juicy portobello, fresh tomato, gruyere cheese, and homemade truffle mayo. Some might find the burger a little small, but there is nothing you won't mop up on this plate, including the sides of potato salad and a balsamic-dressed salad. They may call themselves Two Blur Guys, but when it comes to making affordable, tasty burgers - they seem to know what they're doing.
