Had the barachirashi, monaka cracker with Uni and Truffle, salmon sashimi with renkon crackers and sweet potato croquette.
I donāt drink so Iād skip the salmon sashimi with renkon (lotus root) crackers, Iād imagine it pair very well with alcohol.
What stood out was the sushi rice in the barachirashi, great balance of flavours that complimented the seafood medley. Uni was of good quality.
Went for the $168++ Omakase meal here (though itās a dinner option, itās also available during lunch). Decor is rather no-frills with a touch of Japanese; the highlight here are the dishes.
The sashimi here are aged differently, it brings out the best of sashimi! You will know once you take a bite; the Otoro transported me back to Nara.
The meal here is unforgettable. Recommended to pair it with a glass of homemade Umeshu š„
