Delicious Waffles And Fries Ordered the 忘不了waffles and truffle fries via pick-up today. The waffles go very well with the condensed milk and maple syrup. It is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The truffle fries are fragrant and it is enough to serve 2 to 3 people.

Mala Mac & Cheese ($15.90) Cheesy oven baked elbow pasta simmered in mala sauce with mushroom and bacon topped with half boiled egg and parmesan cheese. This was so damn delicious, that we finished the whole bowl within minutes! With the stringy and salty melted cheese, the spicy mala added another dimension of flavour to the dish. Together, they made for a lively and unstoppable party of flavours! Highly recommended!

Scallop Kaisendon It’s been awhile since I lunch at Teppei and this is still one of the most value-for-money chirashi / kaisen don I have had in Singapore. There is a wide range of rice bowls to choose from and the Scallop Kaisendon ($17++) is so good! The scallops are plump and sweet, and the assorted sashimi is tossed in a delicious sauce and very fresh. The portion is really generous and there is seriously so much sashimi per bowl. Each set also comes with tea and miso soup, and there is a free flow stewed radish side that is really good too - think I had 5 plates of this🙈 Definitely still my favourite chirashi place in town!

Great entry level omakase! 2nd time back at @teppei_japanese_restaurant for their Dinner Omakase ($100) and I'm glad to be impressed again! Their portions did seem like they reduced a bit, but their quality remains wonderful. We loved how there are a variety of different cooking methods, so that you won't get bored halfway through the course. Most if not all food items were fresh and well flavoured. Top dishes got to be their Miyazaki Beef, Negitoro Roll with Uni and Unagi Don. The beef was so tender and rich, the uni was just fantastically fresh and so full of umami and the unagi was satisfyingly crispy on the outside! Do not expect to be in a really posh environment, as the atmosphere here is similar to an izakaya bar. The chef does not really talk to you much except introducing the dishes as they were pretty much rushing around whipping up the different courses. That being said, the course does not seem rushed at all and I enjoyed all dishes at my own pace. Definitely worth a try, especially if you are new to the omakase scene!

Matcha & Sea Salt Chocolate 🍵 Matcha ($7.50++) This is really good, strong matcha taste and a fragrant milkiness to it! Not too sweet either. However the price is really steep. 🍫 Sea Salt Chocolate ($7.50++) When they name this sea salt chocolate, they mean it. Its like a chocolate drink but its liberally salted, not too salty but it may be a little acquired for some.

There’s sticky date pudding and there’s The Lokal’s Sticky Date Pudding ($10). Long regarded as my top favourite sticky date pudding in Singapore, it never fails every single time I have had it. The warm fuzzy sponge cake with the sweet toffee sauce and icy cold vanilla ice cream are the perfect partners in this impeccable after-meal dessert. Beef Burger 25++ One of the better beef burgers. It's really juicy and the inside was a perfect medium rare. Slightly heavy handed on the mustard, and could do w a bit more flavour. Nonetheless pretty good, no regrets ordering this. Friend said wolf burger has a cheaper and better wagyu burger tho

Ricotta Jam Toast 8.5++ Ricotta and the multigrain bread were fine, the jam had a nice tartness and it's nice, as well as quite rare to see manuka honey used. You can taste it immediately

Roasted Beef & Pork Marriott Cafe’s roasted beef and pork is still very good. I like my beef rather rare, and so the 2nd batch of beef that came out was excellent! As seen in the photo. The only thing they could improve on was that it was rather blend. On other days I’ve been here, there have been occasions where it was nicely marinated with enough salt. Meanwhile, the roasted pork was a little too salty today, vs previous visits. Having said that, their crackling was excellent and roast was done just right! 👍

huge portions i ordered the royale wagyu beef burger and while the wait for our food was quite long, the portion was really generous! i loved the bun, and the patty was thicc. not a bad deal in my opinion, will come back to try the pastas on the menu!

Delicious Korean Fried Chicken in West Area Korean fast food lovers should look no further. My boyfriend and I were pleasantly delighted by their Garlic soy sauce that was generously drizzled over their signature crispy fried chicken that was deep fried to golden perfection. Beer was smooth and went really great with the meal. Definitely a match made in foodie heaven, we’ll be back again for sure 🤤

Amazing variety of Korean food Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was amazed by the variety of food they serve. There were so many unique fried chicken flavours and there were also other mains for people who isn't a fan of chicken. Chir Chir is definitely a reliable brand if you're looking to satisfy your Korean food cravings. Great and efficient service as call, highly recommended!

teppan beef lunch set ($8.80++) beef was thinly sliced but really tasty. 2 fried oysters were fresh and delish. crab rice was kinda soggy & bland though. overall pretty good for the price ! very busy, bookings essential.

Wok-fried Crab Fried Rice Unfortunately mediocre compared to the rest of their dishes that I tried. I say skip this and stick to their dishes in which the crabs and oysters are really the hero and not an "add-on".

Breaded Oyster Fry Hiroshima oysters cloaked in panko and deep-fried to a gorgeous golden-brown hue. Each is tucked under a different sauce - (clockwise from bottom right) sesame, mayonnaise, spicy Korean, wasabi mayo, and spicy Sichuan. My fave? The robust sesame.
