Charashi don A hidden gem

Bara Chirashi Don Haven't been here for a long while and one thing for sure is that they have taken their presentation up a notch. The Bara Chirashi Don was served in a ceramic white soup plate instead of a bowl. It was gorgeous to behold as it's plated beautifully and vibrantly coloured from the assortment of diced sashimi and topped with ikura and edible flowers. Interestingly it had blocks of steamed egg instead of tamago.

Lamb Shank so much goodness packed into 1 plate. the meat slid off the bone effortlessly and was super succulent. mixed with its special spice and herbs sauce which was so unique and delectable. the blue pea rice was also very tasty and fragrant. finished the last bite wanting for more

All their dishes are made from the freshest ingredients and are bursting with unique flavours. Head over to enjoy their innovative menu & pair their mains with wines from an award-winning list!

Decent food First time here - food was good in general. Ordered the mezze platter (warm pita bread wedges with dips: hummus, beetroot, tzatziki and spicy capsicum) with falafel and fried feta balls which was decent. Falafel was on the dry side. The pumpkin salad had a good variety of ingredients: mesclun salad, avocado, grilled pumpkin wedges, cherry tomatoes, feta slices and brown Swiss mushrooms. The pasta sauce was delightful and penne pasta cooked al dente! First time trying vegetarian pasta with such flavours.

Aburi mentai salmon ($28), shrooms wagyu burg ($25) +$2 for the mentai, generous portion. Salmon was grilled to perfection, tender w crispy skin. Meat was thick too. Free sides only include green salad & fries under Burpple deals. Wagyu beef was juicy.

overall a good burpple deal🍔🍟 fries (+$2 change to sweet potato fries) were really crispy and the burger was damn substantial, though the bacon made it too salty🥓 and the Wagyu patty could use more seasoning. but i really liked the sauce in the burger and the buttered buns were toasted well! i got the Pin Bunker ($26) which was literally spilling cheese😍🧀🤤 and came with even MORE (nacho) cheese on the side. ambience was nice too (only in the day because it's beside Ark11😀)

1 for 1 mains pasta was a bit salty, but good service!! 👍🏻

Hammydinger - Hammydinger ($14) Turkey ham and chicken ham were slightly thick and goes well with the egg. The tomatoes were juicy and the egg was the same as above (creamy!!). We only had the plain bagel because all other bagels were oos:( The plain bagel was..plain but I love how they toasted it and it was still crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. It would be better if the bagel had more taste.

Garlic Salmon Garlic Salmon ($15) Fresh, creamy and buttery Hokkaido Milk Scrambled Egg with a generous serving of smoked salmon! The egg was thick and creamy, and the cheese was melty and stretchyyy. Plain bagel was soaked in the truffle mayo sauce so it was quite soft and toasty!

Garlic Salmon Bagel (KAI KAI - $12.90) (UP - $15) I finally understand the hype for this bagel shop located at curbside crafters and everyone included the boothers they also order while doing booth at level 1 and 2. I just like their fragrant butter bagel paired well with their ingredients (Garlic Salmon). I enjoyed their marinated garlic salmon and it's freshly made daily and got no bad smell from salmon. Their scrambled egg was quite not that oily but creamy when serving in hot.

Argentinian Prawn | $26 This was a dollar more expensive than the birria, but I’d get this any day over the latter. Though not the kind of cheesy goodness you’ll get with a birria taco, this was refreshing and delightful. The Argentinian garlic prawns was grilled to perfection to give that slight Smokey flavour, not withstanding them being huge and fresh. The combination of Thai mango salad and cilantro gave an appetising boost to every bite. The chipotle mayonnaise added that slight creaminess and light spice to it, and they all the elements added up together very well. That being said, it’s more worth it at Lavi Taco’s if you use the burpple deal since it guarantees you some discount, though it also presents some limitations in flavours - such as not being able to go for this dish, and timings that you can eat there. Masala Lamb Birria | $25 For 2 pieces and pretty little stew by the side my first thought was how unaffordable it was. The masala lamb deep fried taco was not as oily as I’d expected, but the gaminess of the lamb was much more overpowering, to the point the masala felt like a little tingle. In fact, when you dip the taco into the birria, it’s unlikely that you’d get much masala flavour. Cheesy with a decent amount of meat, but, I would go for the other tacos instead. Rate:🌟🌟🌟

Not a real 1-for-1 deal Been here several times. Food here is 10/10. However, did not appreciate that they have a separate price menu for burpple user without informing us. This menu is priced higher than their normal menu. Ultimately only saved ~$5 as compared to 2 mains from their original menu.

Good bowl of Chirashi Easy fix for a bowl of chirashi. What's funny is that they have a separate pricing menu for those using the Burrple 1 for 1, the prices for it was being jacked up. Strange thou.

Date night Came in on a sunday night and the place was packed with visitors from the nearby gardens by the bay. Server was friendly and guided us through their extensive menu. Settled on the taro ice cream cocktail and the Black garlic bone marrow butter rib eye. Steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and seasoned just right. Love the steak!! The cocktail was decently strong but still had hints of sweetness, loved the pairing with the taro mochi giving a different texture. Will be back!

Amazing cocktails! Was at garden by the bay over the week and chanced upon this cocktail bar. Despite being at gbtb, their mains and sides were decently priced, not too expensive for being at a tourist attraction. I ordered the pork ribs and my partner got steak, and we had Brussels sprouts to share. The steak was cooked just as we liked (medium rare), and the rub on the ribs was really good too. But the best dish was the Brussels sprouts. Boiled then fried, topped with a vinegar dressing, the entire dish really took us by surprise and amazed us! We tried their cocktails also - and their cocktails are really an experience. My partner got the edible cocktail - i’d say this is stronger than the others, and had an interesting experience of eating shaved ice (like an ice cream) before it melted into a drink. I got the ube one and those who love taro - this is for you. For someone that cant take strong drinks, the alcohol taste was really watered down by the ube ice cream! We couldnt help ourselves but try their gbtb exclusive (cant recall the name but it was above the ube one). It wasnt too strong and had a good mix of floral nodes in it. Best part is it came lit up and served in a glass that resembled the super trees! Overall, great service and food. Must try is their cocktails!

One for one dessert Around $20 for two desserts which can feed quite a lot of people. The desserts weren’t special but I guess worth coming by for the coffee and vibes of the place. A good place to chill if you had dinner nearby!

One for one coldbrew Am a fan of their white cold brew. One for one deal for this is pretty nice! Was able to use this coupon on a Sunday too.

Voucher limitation 1-1 cakes cannot be used on weekends. This rule is not found in T&C though.
