It was definitely worth the taking the 1 hour trip down to @Word._cafe. The food is sooo delicious and that's quite rare in Singapore's café. The Cow-ch Potato ($24) comprises of steak and mashed potato that was so smooth and creamy. To be honest, I'm totally in love with the food and this place!

The only Salted Egg Croissant ($6) that is different from the others in Singapore. Instead of having a sweet custard filling, @do_main_bakery adds cheese into their salted egg custard. The cheesy, creamy and savoury custard, along with the flaky and fragrant pastry would be best accompanied with a cup of coffee/tea. The best part of eating at Do.Main Bakery is that you also get to feast your eyes on how the pastries are made; the smoothness of the dough that was rolled out by the chef is simply satisfying.

Lovers of garlic and seafood, Drunken Cockles ($7) is a MUST-TRY dish at Two Chefs. Cold cockles dressed with garlic, chili and vinegar. This wonderful combination brings "explosion" into your mouth, but leaves a strong garlicky breath. So be sure to rinse your mouth many times after meal! :)

Bridge is one of the places that filled its whole croissant ($5.90) with salted egg custard; literally from one tip to the other. However, the taste of the custard was too bland even though there were still small chunks of salted egg within. The custard was not as smooth as the rest, and has a powdery texture. The pastry was light and fluffy, and not as buttery.

The Salted Egg Croissant ($6.90) has light and fluffly pastry, with a buttery taste to it. On the other hand, the salted egg custard was a tad too stingy on their end. Although a drip of custard did flow out, that was all it had for my whole croissant. Nonetheless, their service impressed me as they offer to reserve a croissant for me when I enquired about it over Facebook. Many thanks to Mr Rizal who reserved it! @dapaologroup

The Kokolava Croissant ($6.50) comes in 3 different flavors: Salted Egg, Peanut, Custard. The pastry at Kokomama is much denser and less buttery. The salted egg custard was savoury, similar to the taste of the salted egg in Salted Egg Prawn from zi char stall; hence, it didn't quite complement with the pastry.

Starting the day with an awesome cup of Mint Mocha ($6.50). The mint wasn't too strong and blends well with my caffeinated chocolatey drink. It almost tasted like the mint Andes chocolate. Great place, awesome food, and wonderful service from @dapaologroup.
