What I love about iSteaks is that they really grill the steak to your right doneness. The meat was pinkish and succulent. The layer of fat also melted within my mouth, leaving a smoky-buttery taste. By the way, you could also enjoy eating steaks with a cup of Teh Ping!

How about getting yourself a decent NZ Striploin, 250g cut at $19 for dinner tonight? At iSteaks, enjoy thick and succulent steak, along with 2 sides of your choice. The creamy broccoli could have more cream, while the crunchy potato salad did live up to its crunchiness.

Fuel up with the PUMP it Up Hotcake. Baked with apple cubes and cinnamon, the hotcake was thick and moist inside. The thickness was probably what made it slightly doughy. The sweet and sour berries complements the creamy vanilla ice cream, and there was also a slight nutty flavor from the pistachio crumbs.

Singaporean Flavors but Not Really...
The Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Burger is almost like a McSpicy, except that the juicy chicken patty was not spicy but topped with salted egg sauce. The sauce itself lacked fragrance from butter, curry leaves and chili padi. Although creamy, the sauce was too mild that the whole burger tasted almost bland. Is it worth the craze? I don't think so...

Fried till golden brown, one simply cannot get enough of how crispy and savoury this drumstick is. Add a little sambal chilli to the rice and chicken, that brings me to another level of shiokness.

This handmade mee hoon kueh can be found at Far East Plaza. Handmade upon order, the kueh can be a little thick and chewy, but the sauce is really savory and quite spicy that it is too shiok to stop!

After tasting 9 Salted Egg Croissants, I would say that Starbucks' Salted Egg Croissant exudes a strong eggy aftertaste. The croissant itself, has savoury and buttery fragrance, but personally felt the buttery part could be stronger.
