A huge mountain of sashimi slices! There is alot of rice behind the mountain of sashimi. Really like a lot! We couldn't finish the rice. But the sashimi were really fresh. I would like to try the other rice bowl next time!
We know how gimmicky it could be. But the scallops was okay. And we had a 1 for 1 deal for this. Still we enjoyed the scallops. I had the spicy mentaiko scallops.
We opt for the 3 soup base - Buddha Jump Over the Wall, Imperial Soup and Mala Tang.
The soup base was really gooood, except for the Mala, you can find better ones elsewhere.
Just some crispy Tofu as appetiser. Just for the IG worthy.
Extremely beautiful presentation. Had to order this as its so Instagramy. Taste wise - nah, so so. Didn't really taste anything special.
A huge plate of morning yummy. The serving was indeed huge, very worth the price. But it was a tad too oily. The bread was a bit too "chao tar". But the spinach and mushroom was good. Wished that the bacon was a bit crisper. Overall, it was a good dining place for brunch.
This was part of the special Christmas menu. I think it was $33.00. It was really creamy. Needed to share between two person otherwise it could get really jelak. The scallops, fresh and nicely grilled! Plus points for that.
Since they recommended this, I decided to try this. I liked the fish patty, it was thick and crispy. Other than it, it was a ordinary burger.
Very big portion. This was quite good as a snack bite for beer session. The chilli is very good! Tasted like chicken rice chilli. Must try!
I wished it was a bigger cup. Sweet and rose smelling. Love it!
Sweet sweet toast. First time trying figs; not that I'm a fan of the taste. But the bread was toasted and caramelised. Good for dessert.
Brave the rain, just for Le Jardin. Beautifully decorated flowerly cafe. It was still the Christmas mood, so there were Christmas trees (pine trees) around. We managed to get the last available seats due cancellation by one customer. Otherwise we would totally be stucked on Fort Canning.
Food was alright. I liked the scrambled truffle eggs. And the crossiant Waffles, surprisingly good as well!
