Tom yum broth is abit bland, the tonkotsu may be richer. Noodle texture is chewy, scallops donโ€™t absorb the spiced flavours.

Crispy bbq-ed elastic skin covering white fresh, soft flesh is a such joy to bite into piping hot and drenched with sticky, salty and sweet teriyaki sauce.

Oneโ€™s tooth with be picked less often by the less plentiful eel bones that seem to morbidly delight in getting snagged in oneโ€™s gums, scratching oneโ€™s throat inducing gagging reflexes.

A fine piece of unagi indeed.
