Halal Restaurant serving Steaks. And Why Cafe at Bali Lane is a halal-certified cafe/restaurant managed by Muslims. They started with serving sandwich, coffee and bakes, but now they're serving halal steaks as well. 🔸 At the media tasting that evening invited by Vince, we has 4 types of steaks - striploin with Tennessee sauce, ribeye with peppercorn sauce, tenderloin with mushroom and garlic sauce, and herb crusted lamb rack with chimichurri sauce. While I didn't like that they cook their steaks to medium well, I love the sauces they've paired with each of the 4 steaks we tried. I suppose we could request for medium rare steaks and this should also be a good option for a halal restaurant that serves steaks.

Sticky Toffee Pudding Sticky toffe pudding ($12.9)-was pretty good bjt underwhelming compared to what i had. Thwirs' was dry 3.75/5

Fried Rice With Seafood Fried rice done with slightly caramelised sauce, seafood is scattered into the dish. Flavours is just right. The ambience is bright with aircon, service staff is very friendly.

Drip Coffee Black With sugar on the side. This small pot of wonder drips for several minutes, once done, sip the goodness of the coffee beans. Simply, it clears the sleepiness.

Summer Roll And Spring Roll Very very hearty filling of summer roll and spring roll, dip and dip the not so spicy sauce is a must. Have a sip of water.

First Time Sushi @ SG The ones on the conveyer belt.. White plate S$0.99 and I couldn't recall the price for the black one haha. They sell other kinds of dishes as well! The customer service is good.

Ramen / Sushi I wouldn't say it's the best, it's decent enough though.

Teriyaki Chicken Dry Ramen

Chicken Cheddar Pie Had Chicken Cheddar Pie. The pie is just awesome. But everything besides this pie, are just norm. So, go there for the food, but not the customer service, ambience etc.

Chicken & Mushroom Pie Speak about pies and Chicken and Mushroom Pie is a classic for me since it was my mum's de facto choice of pie when I was young that she would pick for me. Beneath the buttery crust is the chunky mushroom and chicken, where the usual creaminess lies a bit more towards the earthy mushroom flavours here with most of them infused into the sauce. Generally nothing to shout about, though I thought there could have been a better balance between the chicken and mushroom chunks for there seems to be just a few pieces of chicken around.

Creme Brûlée Cappucino Saw this and gave up my usual Flat White for it. Pretty similar to The Art Space's Creme Brûlée Latte where you get a layer of sugar flame-torched above the coffee so you get the similar crackling top as per a Creme Brûlée. Pretty satisfying for it's like a dessert and coffee all in one — take a gentle sip to munch on the sugar, while leaving the remaining to dissolve on its own to add a little sweetness to your coffee if a little sugar is what you fancy in your cup of coffee.

The Cure ($5) Tried this new stall blitzing cold-pressed juices near the office and this blend was so easy to drink! The pineapple dominates the flavour profile giving it a tropical vibe, with just enough watermelon and apple in it for sweetness plus lemon juice to give it an additional zing! Very nicely balanced. 👍👍

Getting our @twoservingssg of fruits a day with their refreshing concoction of fruits and vegetables! My pick of Lean Green Machine ($5) - celery, kale, Asian pear, lemon that was suppose to help me rid belly fats (!!) 🙈😹 Hopefully it works and I get to eat even moreeeeee！

Red Velvet Cake >$5 Cake was good and yummy. I think fix is only good at their desert section.

Fried Chicken With Green Chilli Set >$12 Barely tasted the chicken. A lot of batter added to the chicken. I know they trying to make it crispy but not like that. And the green chilli sauce was okay. Nothing fantastic. Disappointing.

Salmon Set >$20 It looks pathetic and tasted the same. Not buying that ever again. Miss their old menu which include naanwich etc. Now it's just like every other cafes selling basic food.

Putu Piring Cake ($11.50) TMC's Dunlop outlet felt slightly cramp if you compare it to their Bussorah or Esplanade joints, but their cakes were still on point. Had the Putu Piring cake slice, which was generously sprinkled with coconut gratings and filled with luscious palm sugar syrup. Slightly diabetes-inducing but what a good way to end off the night.

Ondeh Ondeh and Durian Cake Looks good, tastes even better!

Amazing Halal Food $114 for 4 person. Food were simply amazing, one of the best halal restaurant I've been to. Items were on the expensive side but the portions are so huge it can be shared by 2 per mains. And they gave us free wings and 2 chocolate cake. Staff was super attentive too, she helped us refill the water many times. Highly recommended!!

Part 9/9 - Lava Cake Finally, the deliriously decadent 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗸𝗲, served with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, was the ideal finale to our dinner. A sensational meal and we’d be back for sure!

Part 8/9 - Milkshakes For those with a sweet tooth, the milkshakes are a must. Both the Rainbow Paradise Mini Milkshake and Salted Caramel Mini Milkshake were an indulgent treat.

Special flavor & indeed it flowsssss 😄 Too bad this was too ‘slummy’ 😏 Think the original Chocolate Lava Cake still the best 🍰 Hotplate Marble Beef (210g) ($30.80) . This steak was superbly soft! Love the mushroom flavored rice too 🐮 Seafood Alfredo Linguine ($14.80) . The cream sauce was not too ‘jerlut’ but quite a number of ‘empty’ clams 😕 Buffalo Wings ($10.80) . So so only. Not crispy & not really fantastic 🐔 It was a rather ‘warm’ dining experience due to air-con breakdown 😓 But the service staff was friendly 🙂 #burpple
