Looks like chocolate, smells like chocolate, but it's not chocolate.
This buah kelauk ice cream is rich and piquant, with nutty, berry overtones. Pairs well with the moist, rich chocolate brownie.
Novel taste, surprising on the palate. Real love-or-hate dessert!
Simple and delicious but more effort could have been done to select a smoother cheese.
These waffles were so close to perfection. I had the buttermilk popcorn waffles with vanilla bean ice cream ($14) First things first, waffles were crisp and relatively good. Popcorn was a little soggy but the caramelized bananas made me feel so warm the second I put it in my mouth. It was soooo good. I guess you could rate it an overall of 7/10. It's worth trying
The air-fried golden toast had the delectably crumbling crispiness of a century-embalmed Egyptian mummy. Elsewhere, the dips ranged from rather vapid (Thai milk tea) to safe (kaya) to gao epic addictiveness with steep diminishing marginal returns (Milo condensed milk). 3.8/5

At OMB! they offer this: Jekyll & Hyde ($2.50 for 1 piece, $12 for 6 pieces). You can choose bacon strips in either dark or white chocolate, but I think dark is better as the other taste kind of artificial. Overall, it really isn't something for the faint-hearted...
Definitely a must-try at The Refinery, the Salted Egg Onion Rings can be seen ordered by almost every table. Crisp and served hot, the battered onion rings are surprisingly sweet which goes really well with the salted egg yolk custard sauce and if the sauce is insufficient you can ask for more!
I don't usually take coffee on the weekdays but some caffeine boost would do wonders right now. Love the rustic and old school vibe at Tian Kee & Co. and even more so with their Nuts About U ($7) coffee drink that has Nutella served with espresso ice cubes and a pot of fresh milk. This is such a great way to enjoy iced coffee without worrying that it might get diluted from the melting of the ice cubes.
I can't say this is the best gula melaka dessert, but it's definitely hands down one of the best cheesecakes I've had. So damn sinful my body hasn't gotten over eating it; yet my mind's not letting go of it.
My first thought was that the sandwich will be filled with slices of lemongrass. But to my surprise, I couldn't find any traces of lemongrass (this might not be a bad thing). The beef was so tender and together with the sweet caramelized onion, it was perfect. Definitely my top ten beef sandwich.

2 portions of lamb cutlets that were heavenly! Smell of the lamb meat was rather muted by the spices. Meat and fats were tender and well cooked! Love the thrill of the fats bursting in my mouth. Wasn't such a fan of the mashed potato, felt it was too mushy. The sauce took quite a while to accustom to but was great with the potato. Available during dinner, priced at $22.
Hands down my number 1 churros in Singapore. Sabio's Saturday night promo entitles diners to double servings of any tapas (churros included) for the price of one, from 9pm onwards. Smashing deal, but I'd go out of my way to have these any time.
A makgeolli inspired bar/restaurant!!! Need I say more? BRING IT ON. From the addictive banchan at the start, to the delicious items on the menu, and of course, the drinks! I loved every single item on the menu 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
