This little Korean outlet is popular for those who want fast simple Korean meals which do not involve grilling meats. Ordered the Tofu Jjigae with sliced beef and you can specify the spice level. Comes with three small plates of appetisers including kimchee and a pack of salty seaweed to wrap your rice with.
Good comfort food on a cold rainy day.
As compared to other korean set meals in this area, this is definitely worth your money given the free flow sides (pickled vegetables, kimchi, and another side dish of the day) and complementary tea and seaweed for every soup set.
Taste wise pretty decent, with the soup compromising of soft tofu, prawns, squid, mushrooms and vegetables. Love how the korean rice complements the comforting soup.

The side dishes are nice while the kimchi soup tastes average and there are only a few slices of pork meat. It costs $11.50, a bit pricey for this ๐
I love bibimbaps and this chicken bibimbap ($11.90++) was probably one of the best I had (not counting those I had in korea). So many toppings (5 veg, meat and egg), and way too much rice, this will definitely fill up any big eater. The marinated chicken was so soft and tender too. It would be even more awesome if this was served in a hot stone bowl.
Standard has dropped so much since a year ago. Not worth coming anymore. Rude counter service staff.
Eat! ๐Thanks to my Google Map that we're able to find Bukit Timah Plaza. And so we walked around...๐ฃ We decided to eat in this small and humble eatery. The menu offered the usual and common Korean food, and so I've chosen Beef Bulgogi. Nothing to really shout about, but not that bad. Only that it was not as tasty and as tender as expected. Anyway, it was filling! ๐
