The new dish for this trip divided us! You really need to eat herbs along with Khao Tod (crispy rice) & Naem (fermented pork sausage) else the dish has a peculiar texture. Suggest to have this as an appetizer or snack but not as one of the mains.
Go for this Som Tam (salted egg version) as it is a nice alternative to the classic Som Tam Thai with no hidden fermented fish in the dressing. Having this with black glutinous rice.👍
