Felt really cheated because from the name, i had expected there to be some sort of filling in the croissant- perhaps some matcha custard or salted caramel sauce. However, there was neither and the croissant was really dry and tasteless (not buttery) on its own. The croissant is coated with a layer of matcha chocolate, which gave the croissant overall an acceptable taste, but did nothing to alleviate the dryness of the croissant, perhaps even making it worse for me 😅
The only "caramel" part of the croissant was that small little green square atop the croissant, which was chewy and sticky- tasted like matcha milk caramel candy.
Was attracted to the place due to its pretty decor, being floral themed with beautiful tableware. Theres actually a cafe and beauty/retail section housed under one place. The place is located in Jongno tower at Jonggak station, which seems to be some atas office building and you can see many well-dressed office workers in the cafe.
