Dim Sum Feast at Treasures Yi Dian Xin!
✨steamed chee cheong fan with char siew
✨steamed siew mai
✨steamed diced mushroom dumpling
✨baked egg tart
✨pan fried carrot cake
✨deep fried prawn dumpling with mayo dip
We get to choose 2 meats from roast duck, soy sauce chicken, steamed chicken and char siew for $24. We got roast duck and char siew and the roast duck was pretty yummy just that the skin wasn’t crispy enough for my liking. The char siew was flavourful but I would have liked it more crispy too.
These hargaos were pretty good, with the skin not being too thick and there was a generous amount of prawns in each dumpling. They come at $6.80 for 4 pieces which is pretty reasonable too.
These were crisp at the ages and were pretty tasty too ($5.70 for 3 pieces). There were even radish but in these and the texture of the carrot cake was soft yet slightly chewy too.
These crispy yam puffs ($5.70 for 3 pieces) had a nice crunch to it. There was a generous amount of yam in this too. There was also a bit of saltiness in this to balance out the yam but I felt that it was too salty for my liking.
Even though these baos were small ($6.30/3 pieces), the salted egg custard inside was rich and flavourful. The bun texture was fluffy too!
