東京駅 (Tokyo Sta.)

Just before leaving Tokyo - bought a box of limited edition Tokyo Banananohana! Apparently it's banana purée with chocolate cream filling. When I returned to Singapore, I realised it's also available here - albeit at more than double the price.

Over the 12 days in Japan I've taken the Shinkansen (bullet train) so many times (I can't even remember how many times) - and each time I'll buy a bento before boarding. I've eaten many bentos but this beef bento is the first (though my fav bento has got to be the one I had at Hiroshima with all the DEEP FRIED stuff like karagge and korokke) ! I just love Japan's food halls. I'm spoilt for choice!

What is a train ride without a bento! Although this is not the traditional bento with rice and side dishes, tonkatsu sandwich bento is also an impt part of Japan bentos! I love the cheese tonkatsu bento the most!
