Timbre @ The Row is located at No. 60, 62 & 64 of Jalan Doraisamy. This area, named The Row, is known to be an antidote to Kuala Lumpur’s ubiquitous towers. The Row has adapted twenty-two 1940s shophouses into a neighbourhood of innovative and independent offices, cafes, bars, shops and an exciting event space. Akin to its sister venues in Singapore, Timbre @ The Row is designed in Timbre’s distinct warm and inviting character but with an upmarket twist. The 200-seater live music restaurant accommodates both indoor air-conditioned and alfresco dining areas, completed with a bar and a performance stage catered for an array of live entertainment scheduled 4 nights a week from Wednesday to Saturday. Music aside, patrons can look forward to having their palettes teased by Timbre’s mix of established in-house original food favorites such as the popular thin-crust pizzas, a wide range of pastas and new cuisine ideas of tapas, salads and main courses. So anything with lychee wins my heart. SAKURA (RM28), one of Timbre's house cocktails with well-blended-ice combining lychee, Ribena, vodka and Grand Marnier. 🙋🏻 anymore lychee cocktail please?! #burpple #burppletastemaker #burpplekl#timbrekl#cocktails#lychee

A wonderful first food tasting experience :) Attention: if your office is nearby Cap Square Tower/ Alliance Bank, am introducing Timbre, a good eatery place along Jalan Doraisamy (facing Sheraton Imperial) serving great varieties of western food and mocktails! My favourite: Roast duck thin crust pizza with LOTS of crispy popiah skin (RM36). Come with a bunch of friends so that you can share the calories!

I have never had duck. Not too sure why, maybe my mother had a bad experience eating it, so she never cooked it. She would never order one too, so I somehow picked up on that.

Yesterday, there were plenty of food on the table that I just had to try them all (I missed the mussels, though). First thing I had was this, a slice of this roasted duck pizza. It was the roasted duck breast with sauteed shiitake mushroom with hoisin sauce, topped with mozzarella cheese and popiah skin. Loved the addition of popiah skin, really. Coming from someone who finished up half a jar of seaweed crackers during a Chinese New Year house hopping, I wouldn't expect anything less 😂

Next, I had the Cheeseburger pizza. I believe that is what it was called. There was chilli con carne with onions, then peppers on some pomodoro base, and it was topped with gherkins, provolone and cheddar cheese. I hate gherkins, I do. It was also drizzled with mustard and ketchup, so that's that.

After that, I also had the Crispy Caramel Anchovies pizza. Michelle kept calling it the Nasi Lemak pizza 😂 it had sautéed red onions, pineapples, all on a sambal base, melted mozzarella cheese, topped with julienne cucumber and drizzled with aioli. Oh, how good. It was somehow a bit on the salty side.

Other than that, I also had the salmon and lamb, which I quite like. There was also a bowl of beef fries. Those, and a few drinks I forgot the name 🙈

Free flow wine and beer throughout yesterday night with the platter of fried chicken popcorn, fried squid, smoked salmon and mushroom on the toast.

Couldn't wait to try out their main menu and the famous thin crust pizza.

Singapore's Timbre Group has brought its brand of live music and good food to Kuala Lumpur's The Row. Enjoy live music by local bands from Wednesday to Saturday nights as you kick back with tasty pub grub. Start with the Mini Bites Of Mama Thorthon’s (RM17), heavenly crispy chicken nibbles served with aioli, followed by Timbre's famed thin crust pizzas. The Philly Cheese Steak (RM40) is a classic combination of sautéed beef, Spanish onions, cheddar and provolone, while the Asian-inspired Roasted Duck (RM36) comes topped with roasted duck breast, sautéed shiitake mushrooms with hoisin sauce, mozzarella and crispy popiah skin. Can't make up your mind? Go for The Half & Half at (RM39), sip on a Lychee Martini (RM13) and enjoy the music.
