Sharetea (JCube)

This version from Share Tea didn’t hit any of the marks unfortunately - the pearls had a weird herbal taste and were wayyyy too sweet and the fresh milk wasn’t milky enough. The whole drink tasted very diluted and overly sweet with a bitter aftertaste. Wouldn’t recommend 😴😢#burpple #burpplesg

$3.50. No ice and 50% sugar. Swapped the white pearls for aiyu jelly. I think that this drink is actually very nice but that combination certainly doesn't work well and go well together. 50% sugar is too sweet and if I were to actually try this drink again, I would opt for 25% or 0%. I think it's because the taro is naturally sweet and the milk enhances the taste. Would have liked it if the taro was more distinct in flavour because I felt that the sweetness of the drink was overpowering the taro taste. Definitely wouldn't try this drink in the near future, most probably I would go for red bean or some other drinks. Also do not think that Ai Yu jelly is nice. But, the drink was sinful and would be a good treat for those who love sweet drinks.

No ice and with aloe vera! :)
