We enjoyed the unagi roll (RM23.80) - the eel slices were fresh, lightly grilled and thick. Quite a decent portion for the price.

The grilled pork was heavenly! The slices were charred to perfection - beautifully caramelised, smoky and tender.
It was superior to the ones we had at other places - the edges was charred just enough to render the smoky taste without being too burnt, while the meat was moist and tender. The teriyaki marinade was also a perfect balance of sweet and savoury.
We ordered our pork don in combination with the prawn tempura (RM28.50) - which also comes with salad and miso soup.

Deng Deng Deng Deng ~! Proudly present the best Hokkaido Pork Don in town, it's best paired with half-boiled egg in my opinion (RM23.90). Each and every single bite of the rice is drenched with the running yolk on top after you burst it (yolk porn) and mix it altogether. The chargrilled pork slices are really the best and nowhere can beat the charcoal fragrant. Gotta credit to the loaded pork slice on top, it's super filling and I think it can easily feed two people (unless you have huge appetite like me 🙈) The Don set comes with a side salad with sesame sauce and miso soup.
Gyoza filling is just nice, thin skin, a good finger snack to go with cold beer 🍻 the salmon avocado roll has thick salmon lying on top of the generously filled rice rolls, topped with plump fish roe that burst in moist add moist to the overall mouthful flavour! Satisfied and filling.
Roll priced around RM25++
Senya @ Publika Solaris Dutamas.
The Hokkaido Pork is always a hit here because of its nicely marinated pork belly that are thinly sliced and chargrilled.
A must when you visit because you'll fall in love with the tasty charred meat.
There's an option for ala carte or with rice. I went "low carb" with their garden salad. It actually tasted very much like the Korean bbq lettuce wraps!
Food: 9/10 Price: 8/10 (RM 19.80 w/o rice, RM 23 w/ rice. You get A LOT of meat for both)
My love affair with sashimi is long-spanning, and I'm always down for anywhere with fresh fish and good cuts. Senya's menu is longer than your monthly grocery list and spans from yakitori, salads and katsus to ramens, grilled fish and sashimi. I'm pleased to report we sampled dishes across several categories and Senya has never disappointed - the salmon belly shioyaki is perfectly grilled, the salmon sashimi fresh, well-cut and well-priced, the yakitori fresh and hits the spot and the donburis very strong. I see myself returning here for fuss-free, casual Japanese dining, more so because it doesn't bust the wallet (RM12 approx. for the sashimi pictured above). Non-halal.
