Bun Noodle with Beef and Fried Spring Roll ($12.50) Very meh. Noodles were ok thi not what I expected - it’s thinner than the Vietnamese noodles I usually have at Vietnamese stores. The beef was terrible, full of tendons, with barely any meat to eat. It’s marinated with lemongrass, and it wasn’t dry, but it’s a bit sweet. Spring rolls were crisp but tasted average, lettuce and pickled veg were fine. Not coming back.

Pho Chicken Noodle Soup with Chicken Meat Balls ($11.80++) I was surprised that the soup only had noodles and garnishings of vegetables in it, and no meat or other more substantial ingredients. But then I realised that the noodle soup is very tasty, and the piping hot meatballs were substantial and just slightly crisp on the outside. Overall a delicious meal.

Nice Simple Vietnamese Food. Tender thin slices of beef. Broth was flavourful. Other dishes we had were mango and papaya salad which came with crackers. However, some parts turned soft as they were soaked by the sauce of the salad. Portion was small. Chicken wings were OK. Summer rolls were nice. Wonder why the skin were chewy.

The rolls are light explosion of flavours and textures with my favourite being the summer rolls. Filled with chicken, vegetables and rice noodles and wrapped in rice paper, the summer rolls were plump, fresh and refreshingly tasty.

Cheerful eatery with friendly staff and good food Had the BBQ pork Beehoon salad which was so so good - chock full of ingredients and everything came together so well with the sauce. Fried spring roll was a delight too. Owner was super friendly and talked to each table of customers. Overall, a cheery meal.

Duck pho Ordered the duck pho and pork salad. Didn't like the pork salad, found it salty and some veggies / herbs were quite strong tasting. The duck pho was not bad! Affordable with Burpple. Was quite empty on a Thursday night, no need to make reservation

yummy and authentic!! tried the pancake and beef pho noodles!! pancake was great and fun (but messy) to make too haha they give you rice paper and a spray so you’re supposed to spray the rice paper with water on both sides then put veggies and the pancake and the sauce inside then wrap everything and when you eat it it’s a burst of flavours and textures highly recommend !!! beef pho noodles was tasty but idk if i like the soup to be so sweet but if u do then go for it it’s also damn worth with burpple 1-1 deal !!!

Seafood Fried Pho Noodle $10.80 It was my first time eating Vietnamese cuisine and I think it was ok for me! Expected it to be spicy but it was not. Will definitely come back to try the soup noodle !! :)

It is a healthy soupy lunch. Clear seafood broth with a mix of veges, ginger, lime, lemongrass and vietnamese herbs. Fried Rice With Seafood Fried rice done with slightly caramelised sauce, seafood is scattered into the dish. Flavours is just right. The ambience is bright with aircon, service staff is very friendly.

Drip Coffee Black With sugar on the side. This small pot of wonder drips for several minutes, once done, sip the goodness of the coffee beans. Simply, it clears the sleepiness.

Summer Roll And Spring Roll Very very hearty filling of summer roll and spring roll, dip and dip the not so spicy sauce is a must. Have a sip of water.

So Comforting Beef with Rice Beef is tender and flavorful. A hearty meal indeed!

skip the pho [6.9/10] we had the chicken pho & bun kho sets and topped up a dollar for their homemade drinks (worth! unless you are a soft drink person). the pho was a bit too salty and ordinary - we’d suggest giving it a miss. we enjoyed the bun kho which was flavourful. a small cosy place with a regular flow of customers tho with some annoying flies. would want to try their drip coffee on our next visit.

Beef Noodles Burpple Set ($17.90 1 For 1) The bf had the beef noodles set and it was slightly sweet. I found it a bit odd but he loved it haha. Set comes with Spring rolls too (could choose fresh or fried). We picked the fresh option and it was so good!

Pho With Beef Balls, Beef Tendons And Beef Brisket Our standard go-to dish at So Pho because we really love the firm beef balls and the fatty beef brisket! We also love the slices of beef as they were really tender. 😋 For $12.50++, it is a reasonable amount of ingredients so we are not complaining. However, for those of you who are not good with spicy food, we strongly suggest that you don't add any of the chilli padi into the soup. The chilli seeds are REALLY spicy and they can catch you off-guard! Also, do eat your pho when it is served because the kway teow will clump together otherwise and the dish will not be as nice.

Summer Roll With Prawns, Grilled Chicken And Ham Vietnamese spring rolls with chicken, prawns, rice noodles and quite a lot of veggies in it! We love it when the spring rolls are paired with the fish sauce, as it gives a slightly spicy and yet tangy flavour to the roll, which we feel is a little tasteless on its own. On the other hand, we feel that the dark sauce does not go as well with the dish as it is a little too sweet (reminds us of the sauce used for Chee cheong fun). For $4.80++, it is a pretty great appetiser since there are so many ingredients in it and the sauce is great! However, we felt that the rice paper used for this spring roll was a little too thick and it is actually very difficult to separate the 6 rolls from one another as they stick together really tightly. 😰

After walking past so pho numerous times at JEM and ditching it for other food.. finally tried it at the punggol waterway outlet. The chicken with prawn cake pho ($10.80++) is as good as nam nam! I like that the chicken comes in big chunks, with prawn/fish cakes which you don't usually see in pho. Although the soup isn't as pepper as nam nam's (which I'm so used to), the addition of the red chilli padi did spice things up. Didn't try much of bf's fried pho w chicken ($10.80++) though as I'm trying my best to stay away from fried food for this week haha. #burpple #burpplesg #sopho

beef ball pho soup ($9.80) i think the kitchen thought i wanted all my toppings out💀 anyway i read somewhere that the broth is what makes a good bowl of pho and this was delish👍🏼 beef balls were damn meaty also yumz
