Chilli Crab Meat in Da Bun ($28.80) Here I have the popular Chilli Crab Meat in Da Bun from House of Seafood that was featured on Channel 8’s “Old Taste Detective 2 - Chilli Crab Episode”! First off, this dish is perfect for those who hate the hassle of peeling crab meat from the shells, as all the meat is de-shelled and wrapped up inside the bun with the chilli crab sauce! Taste-wise, the sauce is a nice mix of sweet and spicy, and is generously filled with crab meat too! The bun itself has a crusty exterior while the interior is soft and fluffy. Best way to enjoy this is to dip the bun into the chili crab sauce and eat it, definitely a winning combination! Pro tip: the overall taste is even better if you toast the bun, trust me on that! Lastly, this dish is good to share amongst 3-4 pax. They were really fresh and meaty as well! But if I had to choose a favourite, it would probably be the Black Pepper Crab, because in terms of flavour it had a slight edge over the Chili Crab. Other favourites from this selection are the creamy Pork Ribs w/ Chef’s Special Sauce and the Mee Goreng, which had a good spicy kick! Skewers @ Georges Bar. They recently launched a range of skewers. . The Skewers Chicken (SGD $2.50 per skewer) has tender juicy chicken thigh meat, with smoky sweet savoury salty flavour. . The Skewers Pork (SGD $2.50 per skewer) has large chewy succulent pork belly with equal parts fat to lean meat, carrying meaty savoury salty spice flavour. . The Skewers Seafood (Salmon) (SGD $2.90 per skewer) was rather generically named on the menu, I suppose so that they can change the ingredient, but on this visit, we had an excellent fresh salmon fish skewer, which was sweet salty in flavour, with a crisp light salmon skin and flaky moist salmon fish meat. . Fish and Chips ($15.90) Yummy fish and chips from Georges By the Bay. The batter was crispy, while the fish was really soft and flaky. Unlike many others, the batter didn't peel off the fish like it was a separate component, and complimented the fish really nicely. Served with a pretty decent salad (with no icky, slimy dressing) and nice crisp fries.

2 concepts in one! Just used my Burpple Beyond deal here! It's the only slappy cake outlet left in Singapore and it shares the space with Dancing Crab. Seating space is quite tight so do keep an eye on the kids as the heat from the pancake broiler thingy can be dangerous. Everything else was yummy and heads up to the lovely staff as well 😍😍

lobster roll second time ordering the lobster roll from dancing crab's outlets. first had it at the orchard outlet, and i'd like to say that the orchard outlet does this dish better. in comparison to the first lobster roll i had at the orchard outlet, the brioche roll was lacking in the butteriness that i had enjoyed previously, and was served at a less than ideal temperature. the fries accompanying it were decent, but it was nothing to shout about. would skip this dish at this outlet and go for their signature crab bags instead.

live crab combo priced at $118 per set, this bag came with a 700g crab, prawns, scallops, clams, corn and good quality sausages. we chose the cajun sauce (which had more than enough kick to it), and shared it amongst 2-3pax. extremely filling despite it not sounding like much on the menu. would reorder this, but perhaps with a different sauce in the future.

enjoyed the sweet potato fries more than the seafood bucket🫢 really crispy and spinkled with parmesan and almonds!
