Wagyu Don Ordered the most expensive Wagyu Don on a Saturday. With Burpple, I get the Anago Don free. And I can choose two items of side dishes and pay for only one. I chose Chawanmushi and Miso Soup. Quite a good place for lunch with a partner, using Burpple Beyond.

Aburi Salmon Scallop Don Honestly, was a bit disappointed. The scallops didn’t taste fresh. And there wasn’t enough sauce to flavour the rice (unless you count soy sauce)

Set for 2 is worth!! Tried the Unagi Don and Kei Signature! - Unagi Don was very fresh and yummy. Worth a shot! - Kei Signature Kaisendon had a huge variety of seafood and every single one of them was fresh. This came with 2x2 yakitori sticks, 2x miso soup, 2x salad and 2x refillable green tea. Superb place to have dinner at if you ask me!

Looks good and a must have for value of your money. 2) Beef Don(discontinued) - this was so-so. For it to be discontinued on as part of Burpple set is a good thing. Set comes with - Green Tea(Hot/Cold) - Salad - Yakitori x2 sticks - Onsen Egg/Miso Soup

kei kaisendon v2 good 1 for 1 worth, got sides and drink, bowl 7/10 also. but place small table small 7/10 overall

Fake 1 for 1 deals The price has been mark up by additional $5-$10 as compare to normal menu price. Feel cheated

Not a real 1-for-1 deal Been here several times. Food here is 10/10. However, did not appreciate that they have a separate price menu for burpple user without informing us. This menu is priced higher than their normal menu. Ultimately only saved ~$5 as compared to 2 mains from their original menu.

Good bowl of Chirashi Easy fix for a bowl of chirashi. What's funny is that they have a separate pricing menu for those using the Burrple 1 for 1, the prices for it was being jacked up. Strange thou.

Yikes Not worth it. Crowded place. The unagi has scales and the food is basically microwave and touched. The onsen egg is nice. Would be my last time there.

Unagi bowl Tried the unagi bowl with the set. The egg omelet is a good combination. And love the Japanese pickles. The ingredient aren’t Amazing but it’s nice. Honestly the set isn’t that cheap but it’s still a good lunch option for when you feel like having a larger variety.

Kaisendon burpple set Got my favourite main from the burpple set choices — the kaisendon with steam gyoza and salad and miso soup and tea For the amount of food you are getting the burpple deal is really worth and I like the kaisendon is pretty decent. I prefer the gyoza over the yakiniku sticks offered at other outlets. Around $34 for two sets which is ok for locations too.

Chirashi set meal Came here for dinner. Set meal is quite substantial and it’s a good meal if you are hungry. Wanted to try this outlet since they had chawamushi. You don’t actually save much with the burpple deal. But it a good option if you want to have a big meal and some chirashi/chawamushi.

Marina Square give’s chawan mushi with ikura as sides Ordered 2 sets of Signature Kaisendon. Was surprised that they gave chawan mushi as side. The chef really put his heart into this dish. The other items are normal. The outlet manager helped to serve customers doubling as cashier, cleaner and receptionist . Pocket poorer by $38.82 for 2 sets.

Burpple Set No frills restaurant! Small space (have to walk sideways to the table) with about 2-3 tables. The soup had salmon, clams and mushrooms added. The salad is normal, just filler. The mains are worth it too. I prefer the mentai choices instead of the signature one. But I wouldn't mind coming back again. About $38+/- total after gst

vv worth burpple beyond set!! for mains, we had the kei signature kaisendon & mentaiyaki kaisendon. there was a wide variety of chirashi! i personally preferred the mentai don for the char on the seared sashimi and mentai mayo😋😋 sides that came with the set include: - yakitori - salad - clam miso soup (too thick but generous w ingredients) - hot green tea

Burpple Beyond Set For Two ($39) Visited the place during dinner time! The place is small and there were no seats, so the staff seated us at the tables inside Kajiken instead (1 shop down, beside Onkei Tonkatsu). Seems like the three eateries are affiliated~ There was no yakitori available on that day so the staff allowed us to replace it with their usual other sides, and we opted for the mentai hotate and mentai tamago (not pictured because we already ate them 🤣). Both were quite nice! BB set comes with a don of your choice, salad, free-flow hot/cold green tea and miso soup. The chirashi don has a sizeable portion of mixed sashimi however there’s also non-sashimi items inside (cooked prawn and japanese scallop). Interesting additions but my personal preference would be for the mixed sashimi to have more sashimi varieties and less octopus 🐙

Decent food for the price Paid $38 for this 1-1 deal. Pretty decent and fresh chirashi bowl for the price, got 1 mentaiko and 1 normal. Set comes with green tea, salad and yakitori. Very filling meal even though the chirashi bowl looks small. Will not pay full price for this though, as the food quality is very much average, but it’s value for money for the burpple price paid. Place was very small and squeezy, ambience is poor especially if you want to sit there and chill. This is more for a takeaway/ “fast food” joint. Staff was friendly though, and offered us a seat at the tonkatsu place beside (which was relatively more spacious). Service was good.

Prompt and excellent service The place is pretty small but the waitress is very helpful to get us a table next door selling tonkatsu. (I think they are under the same company) Ordered 2 sets of the same item. Pricing is around $38 for 2 sets. So far I have experienced positive service experience over at this Paya Lebar outlet as this is not the first outlet which I have gone to. Will be back again :)

Salmon Mentai Set Got the burpple one for one and it cost us almost $35 which we felt wasn't worth the price. The salmon quality wasn't as good as I expected especially for the price paid. I feel that the quality of food here is worth $9.50 for the set instead.

Salmon Mentaiyaiki Don Back to Kei Kaisendon for the third time, first time at One Raffles Place outlet. Service crew lady was quite rude when she was taking orders, but her attitude improved after that. Ordered Burpple 1-for-1 set, each set came with 1 don (I chose the salmon mentaiyaki don - delicious!), mini salad (not that great), yakitori (yum!) and hot green tea. The entire set was very filling and $34.98 for two sets is a good deal.
