Choose between a casual takeaway kiosk with limited seats or a dine in restaurant with a more extensive menu. Because this was our 2nd dinner we opted to share a £9 fish & chips and a side of mushy peas (£1.70) at the latter. We were delighted when the left on the counter batter fried fish was crispy and huge; of the cod fish we are familiar with in London. The chips were potato enough despite traces of being left sitting before (over)re-frying.
My first vivid encounter with mushy peas and I am a fan- the flavourful and starchy green reminds me slightly of the Japanese edamame in a mashed form.
