Ordered the kimchi seafood fried rice, Kpop chicken and kimchi cheese pancake. Really enjoyed the kimchi seafood fried rice. The flavours were robust and the dish was chock full of fresh seafood. The Kpop chicken was relatively good too with big juicy chicken chunks in a crispy savoury batter. The disappointment was the kimchi cheese pancake as it was completely burnt on the bottom and the overall taste was lacklustre. The irony was it was supposed to be one of their signature dishes. Donā€™t expect home cooked authentic korean dishes here. The flavours were obviously tweaked with a modern influence.

Lunch set (S$10.80)
At Saranghae in @global.kitchens
Seafood Tofu soup (usual S$12.80) + soft drink
Something hot and soupy for the stomach.

Pot came a little smaller than we expected (considering the staff said it was meant for 2-3 pax). Nonetheless, the army stew came full of ingredients like sausage, spam, ham, cabbage, leek, maggi mee (only 1 packer tho) and topped off with cheese! Very normal army stew thatā€™s comparable to Sunny Koreanā€™s $29 one at KR, but I guess portion is slightly smaller though the cheese adds a nice touch. Comes with kimchi and water as well with a nice empty environment (compared to never being able to find seats at a Sunny Korean). Definitely a nice place if youā€™re craving Korean, and they also have set lunches at $10.80++ (which is essentially ala carte price with a drink)
