The loin gozen came with katsu, dessert, as well as unlimited rice, miso soup and vegetables.
Loin is a fattier cut as compared to tenderloin. I usually go for the loin because the fat really makes this dish amazing.
This place is alright, but I feel like there are better katsu places around - like Tonkichi! The katsu felt a bit small and it wasn’t very satisfying :( If you’re a big eater like me, perhaps this isn’t the place for you!
This set has pork loin katsu, cheese katsu, fried shrimps, crab cream croquettes, and also side dish:
• rice
• chawanmushi - my fav!
• miso soup - very rich
• cabbage - can ask for more!
• ice or hot green tea

Trying their crispy pork katsu set for the first time, which includes ebi, crab croquette, chawanmushi and! free flow miso soup, rice and cabbage.
The pork katsu is well fried, v lean and my favourite is the rare fatty bits of the cutlet.
The miso soup together with rice feels so homely... towards the end, the cutlet may get a little soggy.

Love the food here. Especially the salad sauce they provided on the table,there were two bottle of sauces, was wondering what was the black sauce (the other one was sesame sauce), once tasted, feel so refreshing (its yuzu sauce!).
So caring that they gave u the option of the salad sauce and u can decided to put how much u wan it to be.
The fried food are great as well with their crunchy breadcrumbs. 😋

For those who needs a complete meal, this restaurant (located in various part of Singapore) is the place to be. My personal Favourite is this Shima Hokke set, that is totally value for its money, and utterly moist , flaky and firm. At its price point, you are served with whole fish, grilled to perfection. Smoky and light, perfect for those who is on diet, or healthy living. Do be wary of bones, but a small hazard to an otherwise full meal.
