The highlight is the fishball, it's bouncy and can tell its homemade (coz it's regular shape).
💰$3-$5.

They have 4 outlets in Singapore and the one I tried is from Old Airport Road Food Centre. Expect a queue during lunch time, I waited around 20 minutes.
I ordered the standard meepok dry with chili. The chili has hints of sambal and hae bee hiam, which makes the meepok really fragrant, with a slight sweetness.
Fishballs and fishcake feels handmade, bouncy and juicy. Super decent bowl of fishball noodles considering it is $3 only. Portion might be a bit smaller for bigger-eaters though
Mee Pok was well-seasoned with the chili sauce but the star of the dish is the fresh and bouncy fish balls that has a very nice texture to it.
Be prepared to queue for this bowl.

Fishballs are bouncy, tender, and very fresh! Although it’s better than most fish all places, don’t think it’s worth the long queue
🤩☀️☀️ I was in the East area and I decided to check out Ru Ji Kitchen and try their dry mee pok.
Wah, THEIR FISHBALLS ARE AMAZEBALLS. They actually use yellowtail fish and beat it into paste for an hour before making it into fishballs and fish cake. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I have so so much respect for these hawkers.
The noodles was well seasoned but abit hard at some areas, average taste. Next time I’ll just order a bowl of fish ball soup.

Absolutely LOVED this!!! The first time I had Ru Ji, I started off with a normal Mee Kia bowl and ended up going back for another extra bowl of Fishball Soup ($3) - because it was so good and just wasn’t enough. 😂 It’s easily the best I’ve had in a long while!
The noodles are tossed in a fragrant sambal chilli (that they are also currently selling in jars for CNY) and bits of pork lard. Noodles this time was slightly softer than what I would’ve liked, but the stars are their handmade fishballs, meatballs, fishcakes and so flavourful soup!!! The fishballs and fishcakes were super bouncy and you can definitely taste the quality and generosity of fish meat used.
Recently got to know that they also have another outlet at Holland Drive Market & Food Centre - will definitely drop by very soon!
